Born and raised in the Seattle Metropolitan Area, Harneet has served various local and international communities through nonprofits and believes helping others is the highest honor. She is now aspiring to continue the privilege of helping others by offering services as a Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula with the goal of becoming a Certified Professional Midwife. During my pregnant period I almost lost 2 my best friends because of I was expecting from them support that I never received, not because of they dont care, they just dont know how to deal with that. Life once surprised me with an unexpected home birth before the ambulance arrived. In that moment, I learned that staying calm, taking a deep breath, and having someone beside you can change everything. Since then, I’ve carried that feeling with me. I love listening, encouraging, making tea, holding a baby so a mom can rest, or simply sitting quietly when that’s what’s needed.
