Natural birth at the hospital hoping to find an insurance covered midwife or doula

First time mom, prefer natural route. Seeking any and all advice.

I’m looking for somebody will help me give birth in my house and God forbid if I have to go to the hospital be able to transport me to the hospital

I plan to give birth in a hospital, my insurance should cover a midwife, but open to discussing any out-of-pocket charges. I will need assistance with the birth plan and guidance as i go through my pregnancy.

I would love a homebirth but do not have the financials for a midwife. I am currently getting care through Stonybrook, however I want to switch to either NUMC or Huntington if I cannot figure out the homebirth situation. I want a doula IN PERSON regardless for support but more so if I am in the hospital. This is my 3rd pregnancy. My first was an unnecessary C-section. My second was a VBAC that I had to fight for. I am not religious.

I plan to give birth in a hospital. My budget for a doula is 2k. My birth plan would be to labor at home for a while and then drive to Manchester memorial hospital to give birth because I believe they are the most vba2c supportive in Connecticut with the midwives affiliated there.

Our budget is flexible and for a birth plan: delayed cord clamping, move freely not confined to bed, wants a midwife who will not yell but will stay calm, just husband and midwife at the final stages of labor, husband wants to help deliver, and wants kangaroo time
