I'd like to work with a CNM for my prenatal and labor/delivery and have a hospital birth. I have United Healthcare Choice Plus POS.

I would like to give birth at home, but still not sure. Not sure about a budget yet. I want a natural birth.

I would like a mid-wife to help me give assistance with an at home water birth. I rather a Mid-wife over a Dula because in case anything happens to me or the baby that might need medical attention, a midwife is medically certified to assist in that situation, if it where to occur. A dula is for support & help to relax & I’ll have plenty of that with dad & my family. I’d also like to know what they need me to get to prepare for this home birth so it’s available for when baby comes. I don’t have insurance, I did but they recently took me off. I am willing to pay out of pocket.

At home and need a midwife first time mom I need details on birth how much

For a midwife: I want my birth to be as natural as possible, no medical interference other than the fact that I want it to be in a hospital, just for my peace of mind. For a night nurse: I am just curious in looking at my options.

I plan to give birth at the St Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. I’m early in pregnancy so don’t have all that information yet.
