Service introduction

The transition into life with a new baby deserves thoughtful, individualized support. As a postpartum doula and lactation consultant, I provide compassionate, knowledgeable care designed to nurture the entire family during the early postpartum weeks and months. Each visit is tailored to the unique needs of the family and may include newborn care, emotional support, opportunities for restorative rest, light meal preparation, baby laundry, bottle care, and practical guidance as parents settle into new routines and gain confidence in caring for their baby. Feeding support is thoughtfully integrated into postpartum care, whether a family chooses breastfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, combination feeding, or a combination that evolves over time. I offer guidance with latch and positioning, milk supply, pumping, bottle feeding, feeding patterns, and common early feeding challenges. My approach is never about prescribing one "right" way to parent or feed a baby. It is about providing skilled, nonjudgmental support that respects each family's goals, preferences, and circumstances-bringing reassurance, practical expertise, and a calm, steady presence to one of life's most meaningful transitions.

Robyn is an angel. We hired Robyn with our second baby to help with breastfeeding and maximizing sleep/ minimizing stress so we could be more present for our 5 year old and for the health of our marriage and personal sanity! She is a lactation consultant with her own calibrated scale to weigh the baby. She helped me with breastfeeding trouble shooting which was invaluable. She would also 'reset' our home at night by doing laundry, dishes, cleaning up toys, and prepping our coffee and breakfast. I'll never forget waking up the first night she was here and seeing our house look so peaceful. She is a very caring and gentle person. She loves babies and loves what she does and it shows. She gave our baby snuggles and love overnight that I was too exhausted to do. She even calmed our 5 year old when she would wake up with bad dreams. Robyn was respectful of our preferences for the baby. She was a godsend and we could not have managed without her help. She is so wonderful and kind. She became part of our newborn bubble.

Robyn is an absolute gem! She is the sweetest, most gentle caregiver, and she was an incredible source of support during my postpartum period. From the moment she started, she made such a difference in our lives. She was incredibly flexible with hours (I hired her from 10 PM to 6 AM), and during that time, she took complete care of my baby while I got some much-needed rest. Since my baby was bottle-fed, she handled everything seamlessly, but I know she also has a great system in place for breastfeeding moms to ensure they get quality sleep as well. I highly recommend Robyn! You will not regret having her care for your baby.

We hired Robyn to help overnight with our newborn twins. We initially started with a 6 week contract - she offered to come to the hospital when we were there but we ended up having her start the first night we were home. She is incredibly caring and is a natural with newborns. Not only was she helping with all of the night feedings, getting the babies back down, etc., but she would also clean pump parts, put breastmilk away and labeled, and wash and sterilize bottles (which we had a lot of with newborn twins). She always folded the mass amounts of baby laundry. She offered pumping and nursing support, weighed the babies to make sure they were gaining weight, even made us muffins and overnight oats! She came three nights a week and as we got closer to the end of 6 weeks we asked if she could continue coming for a few more weeks. Since she had a gap between clients she was able to continue coming until she started with a new family, which was so nice and flexible! She was always prompt and never late and we always looked forward to the nights she would come. She's continued to check in with us and ask how the kids are doing even now that they are 1! We can't recommend her enough!

We were SO fortunate to have Robyn care for our baby after he was born. She helped us take care of him at night which helped me rest so that I could enjoy my time with him during the day. She is so gentle, kind and loving and was exactly the kind of nurturing caregiver I wanted for our baby. She helped him develop healthy sleep habits while still making him feel safe and loved. I could rest easily at night knowing that he was in her care. Her role as a lactation consultant was also really helpful. We had to supplement with formula at the beginning and she helped us seamlessly transition to exclusive breastfeeding. Robyn really helped me get the rest I needed to make the newborn period manageable and enjoyable. Thank you Robyn!!!!

Robyn provided incredible care and support during our early postpartum weeks. Her calm presence and experience with newborns made such a difference for our family with first baby, providing peace of mind and an extra set of experienced eyes on our newborn's behavior. She provided postpartum doula services several nights a week, allowing us to rest and recover. She supported us in breastfeeding and pumping overnight, and was flexible with our needs. With her IBCLC background, she was able to support us through the occasional feeding challenge as well. She performed light housework including laundry, breakfast preparation, and dishes, accommodating our preferences and helping us to maintain our routines. She is respectful and kind, and a pleasure to have in our home. I would highly recommend her services to anyone seeking postpartum support.

My family had a wonderful experience working with Robyn. She was with us as we welcomed our first child, which included our first nights home from the hospital during the height of a new COVID variant (a bit stressful, to say the least). Robyn put us at ease knowing that our baby was in experienced, loving hands so my husband and I could catch up on much needed sleep. I greatly appreciated her experience as a lactation consultant, as well. Robyn gave me timely, helpful advice when I was struggling with oversupply to ensure it did not turn into something more severe such as mastitis. I highly recommend her for overnight newborn care.

My husband & I cannot say enough good things about Robyn. She started working with us when our twin boys had just come home from the hospital, and she made it possible for us to survive those exhausting months. She is a wealth of information regarding breastfeeding & pumping (she is a lactation consultant), and babies in general. I never worried about my boys' wellbeing when she was caring for them - I knew if they were having a hard night with more wakings, she would handle it with ease. She also worked very hard to wash dishes, clean pump parts and bottles, fold laundry, or whatever we needed when there was downtime. Robyn is kind, wise, calm, patient, and an incredibly hard worker. She treats our kids as if they are her own, and we love her so much!

Robyn worked with my family for over 2 years. She mostly did overnights for us (premature twins) but would fill in wherever we needed, ie come in early or stay later if needed. I have nothing but positive things to say about dear Robyn. She was such a blessing to our family and our twins are still very attached to her. I'm not sure how I would have gotten through the early years with my children without her. She was always willing to help in any way that I needed. She would help with feeding, organizing, cleaning, laundry, and even emotional support when I felt like I was drowning. She is truly one of the kindest people that I know and looks to help always. She's a mom herself and it's incredibly loving. I trust her explicitly with my children. In addition she recently got her board certification as a Lactation Consultant to be even more helpful to nursing mothers, something that she is very passionate about. Anyone who works with Robyn would be lucky to have her. She has my highest recommendation without any reservation.
