Hi I’m Phyllis Sharp, a mother of 5 children. I have been a full time doula for 5yrs. I love supporting birthing families. I am also a certified lactation counselor and enjoy sharing my knowledge to help others have a successful feeding journey.

It began in 2003 when I became certified with DONA International. Since then, I’ve had the immense privilege of witnessing countless births, each one a unique and awe-inspiring miracle. In 2004, I became a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, and in 2008, a Certified Lactation Educator and Counselor. And in 2007, I experienced the profound joy of giving birth to my own beautiful daughter, supported by two incredible doulas who showed me the true meaning of strength and compassion. I believe with all my heart that every woman—every birthing person—holds an incredible power within. Pregnancy and birth are normal, natural processes, and when we understand our innate abilities, we can embrace these experiences with confidence and joy. Over the years, I’ve been honored to support families through first, second, and third births; natural and medicated births; and those tender early postpartum days when breastfeeding journeys begin. I’m here to offer evidence-based information, a listening ear, and a steady hand to hold. My goal is to help you make informed choices that feel right for you and your family.

My name is Lauren. I’m 26 years old and have called Webster, NY home my entire life. Family is at the center of everything I do, and my dog is truly my heart. I believe deeply in showing up for the people and beings we love, and that belief is what draws me so strongly to supporting others during pregnancy and birth. Welcome! I’m Jessica Rogers. I am a Birth and Postpartum Doula with a deep passion for supporting families through one of the most powerful journeys of their lives: pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I was trained through DONA International and am actively working towards birth and postpartum certification. I am also on the journey to become a Certified Lactation Counselor through the Center for Breastfeeding. My own experience becoming a mother ignited this calling in me, and it grew even stronger during my second pregnancy. This season can be transformative, overwhelming and beautiful all at once, and you do not have to go through it alone. As your doula, I will be a dedicated and compassionate support system, someone who not only respects you but also walks beside you like a trusted friend throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. I bring a calm presence, a good sense of humor, and a listening ear when you need it most. I am a hard worker who believes in your strength and am here to support you and your family every step of the way. When I am not supporting families, you can find me spending time with my amazing husband, children, family and friends, exercising, reading, meal prepping or gardening. I also happen to love spiders and have a new hobby that includes two jumping spiders and a tarantula - weird, maybe, but I love them and have always had a soft spot for exotic pets (and nature in general). I also have a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design from RIT, and spent the previous ~12 years working in the field until the birth of my second baby. I love seeing women empowered through this incredible experience and I would be honored to be a part of your team. I am new to the Rochester Area—I've been primarily a lactation counselor and postpartum doula since 2020, and first got trained with Ancient Song Doula Services in 2018. I attended my first birth in 2018 after 3+ years of health education. My family is from the Dominican Republic, I am fluent in Spanish, and conversational in French after 14 years of studying and understand Brazilian Portuguese a fair amount!
