About me

Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m a mother (of 7), birth photographer, and doula. Birth is something I’ve been deeply drawn to for a long time, both through my own experiences and through witnessing it for other families. Photographing birth felt like a natural beginning, and over time I felt called to offer more hands-on support as well. I show up with a calm, steady presence and thoughtful guidance, with the goal of helping you feel supported, informed, and truly seen as you prepare to welcome your baby.

Service introduction

I offer birth photography and doula support for families who want calm, thoughtful care during pregnancy and birth. As a doula, I provide prenatal visits, on-call availability, continuous labor support, and postpartum follow-up. As a photographer, I document birth in a respectful, unobtrusive way that honors your space and experience. My goal is to help you feel supported, informed, and truly seen.

Packages
Foundation Doula Support
This option is for you if you want to feel prepared, confident, and fully supported heading into birth. We’ll spend time during pregnancy talking through your hopes, concerns, and preferences for birth. I’ll help you understand your options, learn and practice comfort measures, and prepare for birth and postpartum in a way that is realistic and empowering. As you get close to your due date, I’m on call for you, and when labor begins, I’m there with continuous support. After baby arrives, I continue supporting you as you transition into postpartum and process the birth, offer breastfeeding support, etc. I am really passionate about postpartum care, so I will check in frequently (most likely via text) outside of the included postpartum visit and I offer add on in-person support, if you need it. Includes: • 2-3 prenatal sessions focused on childbirth preparation and comfort measures • Birth preferences and decision-making support, creating a birth plan • Evidence-based resources • Unlimited text support during pregnancy • On-call availability from 38–42 weeks (earlier if the situation arises) • Continuous labor and birth support through the first 2 hours postpartum • One postpartum visit to check in, process the birth, and support early recovery

Supported & Seen
This option is for families who want both full support and their birth thoughtfully documented. Along with comprehensive doula care, I’ll also photograph your birth—capturing the strength, tenderness, and connection of those moments as they unfold. This allows you and your partner to stay fully present in your labor, knowing you’re supported and that these memories are being preserved with care. Includes everything in Foundation Support, plus: • Full birth photography coverage (active labor through 1–2 hours postpartum) • A curated gallery of edited images that tell your birth story • Supported & Seen families receive $100 off an in-home lifestyle newborn session, scheduled within the first few weeks after birth, if they’d like to document that season once they’ve had time to settle in.

Birth photography is unlike any other form of photography and Sarah is unlike any other photographer! She was present, but not invasive, supportive but not overbearing, and everything we didn’t know we needed. Having her there allowed my husband to be just as present in the moment with me and now these pictures will be special to both of us, because he didn’t have to be the faceless man on the other side of the camera! Also, when Sarah offers to braid your hair, let her. Can’t recommend her enough!

Sarah was so lovely to work with!! She was down-to-earth and simple, but fun and creative. The picture quality and gallery from our session really blew us away!! The price may seem a bit higher, but her pictures are truly works of art and a snapshot in time. You won't regret scheduling a session with her!! <3

Sarah uses the same care with your families precious moments as she does in caring for her own family. (I can vouch😊)She has a special gift for capturing natural unposed photos and spends time editing each one until she’s happy with the result. ❤️

Sarah is absolutely amazing! She was incredibly patient as my newborn pretty much sobbed through half of our session. She’s supportive, kind, and worked hard to ensure the pictures I wanted were perfect.
