A doula works alongside you in the prenatal, birthing time, and postpartum. I am a birth doula residing in South Minneapolis. I have a lot of interests and passions that led me to find birthwork. I find it perfectly intersects science and data, bodywork and movement, direct advocacy, and human connection. I love to laugh and cry with you, holding space for your emotions and experiences. I enjoy sharing my knowledge while being curious about everything I don’t know. After completing a B.S. at the University of Minnesota and a stint living in France, I started working as a consultant for our local utility companies, implementing an energy efficiency program for new home construction. By this time I was deep into a yoga practice and took a yoga teacher training at Yess Yoga in 2018. I learned so much and it exposed me to many holistic practices within the 8 limbs of yoga. Meanwhile, my all-female consulting team started expecting. They would come to the office with so much new information and questions after doctor/midwife appointments, not to mention what everyone was saying on the internet! I was so curious about it all! I discovered what a doula was and that people did it as a profession. Not long after I am happy to say I found a doula training and haven’t looked back.

Jerriah Marie (She/Her)… is a wellness practitioner, birth worker, and medicine wombman located in the twin cities. When she is not serving families in the birth space you can find her writing poetry, whipping up herbal remedies in her kitchen, and sharing cuddles with her daughter Leilani. Her passion for birth work began at age 5. After witness her first birth, she knew that being a birthworker was her mission. As a young adult Jerriah was always deeply moved by birth and found her way supporting family members and friends during their labor. It wasn't until 2020, after the birth of her daughter, that this spark reignited back into her life and she dove deep into the meaningful work that she now does as a birth worker. "I believe that Birth is sacred, and should be handled with intention. As a birth worker my approach is designed around assisting you in bringing your birth intentions to life, whatever that may look like for you and your family. I have been a full time mother for almost three years, exclusively breastfed for 2 years. My experience as a Nursing Assistant prepared me for the challenges of motherhood. I am very excited to transition into making someone else's home a comforting place. Including support for the new baby, older siblings, birthing parent, partner, and/or all family in the home. Hi there! I’m Megan (she/her). I’m so glad you’re considering doula support for your or your partner’s upcoming birth. I believe all parents deserve judgement-free, evidence-based support during their labor, birth and postpartum. My journey to fully birth obsessed began during my first pregnancy. I needed to know all the things and hear all the stories. I quickly learned that many birthing people, especially those in marginalized communities, do not receive the care they deserve during their journey to and through parenthood. This is when I discovered doulas and the support they provide. So I hired my doula, had two supported and empowering in-hospital birth experiences and went on my way as a mom of two, working a typical 9-5 in corporate marketing— never quite shaking a new found desire to make a difference in the birth community. Fast forward a few years, endless heart-to-hearts with my family and friends about making a change and I finally enrolled in a doula training. I truly believe this is what I’m meant to do and I’m so glad to have found my way here. My goal as a birth and postpartum doula is to empower birthing people and their partners through judgment-free and evidence-based support. When I’m not doula-ing, I’m usually spending time with my husband, our two daughters and two elder pups. Before parenthood and a pandemic hit, you could find us skiing, hiking, trying new restaurants, taking on a house project we probably should have left to professionals or binging our favorite shows. Now, you’re more likely to find us at a local park, swimming pool or in our backyard. A meaningful conversation over a cup of coffee or glass of wine is the way to my heart. After my own challenging and disheartening labor experience with my first son in 2019, I felt called to make a difference in the lives of others who may face similar challenges. For almost six years, I’ve been advocating for our community, working to ensure that families receive the care, knowledge, and support they deserve. In May 2023, I became a certified Perinatal Educator through Commonsense Childbirth, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of serving many families. I live in Lakeville and am serving around the Twin Cities area. My interest in being a doula started when I realized I was really fascinated with birth after having my daughter. I also love supporting those around me and supporting expecting moms seemed to be the best way to support those in my community. Hi, I'm Eleanor Trenary. I believe that all expectant parents deserve an empowered birthing experience. No matter how you give birth, you should feel like you understand your options and are respected, supported, and cared for throughout your birthing journey. I am a mom with a lifelong passion for reproductive rights and gender equity, and have enjoyed being an advocate in many different settings. As my friends started having kids, and I went through my own pregnancy and birthing journey, I realized the powerful role that doulas play and the benefit of having continuous support for birthing people and their partners. I started reading and learning more about birth, taking childbirth education classes, and eventually completed full Doula and Lactation training with Community Aware Birthworker. When I’m not doula-ing, you can find me hiking, drinking tea, knitting, and soaking up snuggles with my husband and son. My first career is in public policy and I currently work as an environmental lobbyist. I graduated from Macalester College and have a Masters in Public Affairs from Indiana University.

I’m Paige and I’m a mom of 3. I spent most of my young adult life working with people with developmental disabilities. After that, I received my Sign Language Interpreting degree from Saint Paul College and worked with Deaf/Hard of Hearing folks before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I have spent the last several years raising my kids. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s my favorite job yet! Now it’s time for me to do what I really love: postpartum work! I have always been passionate about families, pregnancy, birth, babies, and postpartum. Parents deserve so much more support and education as they are growing their families. Many people tend to focus only on pregnancy and preparing for birth, but they don’t spend time preparing for postpartum. My goal is to help families be more prepared and supported for all that comes when adding a new baby to the family. I want families to have a smoother and more peaceful postpartum experience. I am based out of South Saint Paul, Minnesota and am currently serving the greater Twin Cities area.

I am 21 years old and I am also married with 2 wonderful children! I had a doula for my first birth and I've never felt so secure. I had someone who had me, my boundaries and wants in mind. I never knew what i wanted to do as a career and after that whole experience I knew exactly what i wanted to do. Birth is such a vulnerable process and emotions are high. My births were also vastly different, so in addition to training I also have first hand experiences in both medicated and unmedicated birth, inductions and waterbirth.

I became a bit "birth obsessed" and couldn't get enough of reading the latest evidence. I decided to put my passion towards a new career path and pursue being a postpartum doula. I have 2 kids, a husband, a cat and dog. We love to go on adventures looking for new places and parks to visit as well as finding good local coffee and donut shops. My hobbies include baking, cooking and gardening as well as anything outdoors! I have also been a pediatric occupational therapist since 2015 and love my job helping kids and their families reach maximum potential and coach on ways to adapt and modify environments to meet the child where they are at!
