As a mother of two I am in love with the world of birth and babies. One of my favorite things in the world is helping introduce new life into this world and helping families adjust to their newborn. I am a certified birth and postpartum doula, and have training in lactation specialization. I hope my role in your birth/postpartum is something you're excited for and I can be someone to lean on in this incredibly emotional and exciting time. I hope that if you were to select me or not, you have a fulfilling and safe birth and your little addition to your family has a healthy debut.

Gabby was my postpartum doula and by far was the best provider who fulfilled needs I didn’t even know I had at the time. With compassion and genuine empathy and support, Gabby was able to foresee and recommend solutions to prioritize my self-care and wellness and also my daughter’s care. I felt affirmed, validated, reassured and empowered every interaction. Gabby is knowledgeable and communicates professionally and thoughtfully. Gabby is one of the few I trust to provide attentive and nurturing care for my daughter, born 2 months premature. Gabby’s presence is meaningful and my trust in her truly speaks volumes for her attention to detail and respect for individual women and their families. I highly recommend Gabby, and I often recommend her to my friends and family, even colleagues, because of the life-changing and empowering experience with her by my side through it ALL!

Hi, my name is Bre. I am the mom of a preschool kiddo and the step mom of a teenaged kiddo. I live in Ames with my fiance and our kids. Between working in preschool classrooms, in home support and my own postpartum experience, I have noticed that one of the things we need most in this society is good parental support, especially in the postpartum period. I hope to be a positive support for families so they can enjoy their postpartum experience just a little bit more. I provide evidence based information on newborn care (think sleep, feeding, soothing etc.), postpartum recovery, meal prep, light housekeeping, and sibling transitions. I strive to be the most positive support for you!

Adrian was an incredible support throughout my pregnancy and at my birth. She was attentive, and taught me so much about my prenatal health, the birth process, nutrition, and more. She checked in frequently, and followed up with my health. I was a gestational diabetic, and had never dealt with that before. She was very knowledgeable and reassuring. When I went into labor, we walked, we danced, we laughed, and we prayed. She respected my birth plan. And it was beautiful, unmedicated birth! Having Adrian by my side was a bright, loving and necessary part of a whole beautiful birth experience! She also took care to follow me for my first 6 weeks postpartum, answering any questions and encouraging me and my motherhood.

I am excited to be working with families. My desire stems from personal experience as I was fortunate to have amazing support after my own children were born. I know the benefits of this care and every mom and family deserves this same foundation. I understand the demands and chaos of family life and I know that each birth and child brings new joys, challenges, and changes to a family’s rhythm. My heart is to help families gracefully enter this new season—offering guidance, rest, and encouragement rooted in compassion and faith. Let me support and nurture you and your family as you become confident in this new phase of life. I have experienced a variety of deliveries personally – unmedicated and medicated, emergency c-section, VBACs, and homebirth and each came with a different kind of recovery. I know that my personal experience will allow me to assist each mother in their postpartum time. As a pediatric nurse I had the pleasure of working with newborn babies regularly. I enjoyed educating new parents but the time I spent with them was minimal and working with families during a postpartum shift gives me additional time for this education. I also used cloth diapers for all of my children from birth through potty training. Hello! My name is Crystal, and as a wife, mom of three, and registered nurse, I’ve always been drawn to helping others. But it was the alarming reality of our nation’s maternal morbidity and mortality rate that truly ignited my passion. Despite our advanced medical care, too many women are suffering, and I believe it's due to a lack of holistic support. I'm here to change that. As a labor and postpartum doula and childbirth educator, I'm committed to providing compassionate care and evidence-based information to empower women and families. Let's work together to create a safer, more supportive birthing experience.

I have not been able to purchase services yet but I have experienced the care that Crystal provides. When home from maternity leave she brought me meals and when my 10 month old had open heart surgery she came to visit us hours away. She is truly a joy to have along for the journey 💛
