I’m Mikah! I’m a full-spectrum doula and I have been a doula for about 2 years. I just started school to be a home-birth midwife. I love serving others especially women and babies. I am big on naturalistic and holistic care. I am a believer and I love to pray with my clients if that’s something they would desire.

We so often are in search of magic, without realizing we have it right inside of ourselves. For me, becoming a mother has proven that to be true. Birthing Ancestors was created from the idea that when you have a child you are not only birthing a future generation, but you are also birthing yourself as a parent - someone’s ancestor. I like working with kids because I am the oldest of the 5 girls and I work in the hospitals in the pediatric float pool assisting the nurses and families. I have been working with children that have been in the nicu all the way up to teenagers. I started working with kids when I was in my teenage years, but I professionally started working when them while I was in college and I still am enrolled in college right now In my spare time, I like to find new hobbies, travel, and hang out with friends or family One thing you should know about me is I always go above and beyond to help people and that is my main goal with anything I do. My career in the end is to continue you helping people, which is why I'm working on getting my degrees is social work and nursing.
