I’m looking for a newly certified or student birth doula who is currently building their birth portfolio and would be willing to attend my birth at no cost in exchange for experience, a client review, and permission to use the birth as part of their portfolio. It’s my second baby, I’m planning for my second unmedicated birth and I would like someone that can support my husband as well. I plan to give birth at UVA Manassas.

I’m looking for a faith-centered doula who will support an informed, low-intervention birth while also respecting medical recommendations when they’re truly necessary. I had a positive epidural birth with my first child and am open to an epidural again. I want help navigating induction and intervention conversations, staying calm and grounded during labor, and making sure my husband feels included and supported as well.

I am a Care Advisor, assisting a family in Alexandria, VA 22310 with finding a birth and postpartum doula, with more emphasis on postpartum care. The baby is due 11/20/2026. Mom will be delivering a Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA 22042. They do have a doula benefit through their Aetna insurance.

I had a c section with my son 4 years ago they said he wouldn’t come down but was in birth canal when they pulled him out if me. I was so upset as I was 8cm dilated and had labored so long. I am now pregnant again and really want a Vbac if possible. I’m really trying to be a lot more healthy this pregnancy and take care of my body and prepare for birth. I’m so scared of a uterine rupture but I know my body can do this. I will birth in a hospital but want someone to help advocate for myself so I’m not just stuck on a bed. I really don’t have much money but would be willing to set up a min to plan? I don’t know how that works. I just really want this Burt to be so much more peaceful and smooth if possible with no water breaking and laboring at home until I can’t anymore.. I still learning a lot and putting my exact plan together
