I am a compassionate and experienced Newborn Care Specialist with over 20 years of experience caring for newborns and supporting families through the beautiful but sometimes overwhelming newborn stage. I am originally from Brazil and speak both English and Portuguese. Families describe me as loving, patient, trustworthy, and calm, and I truly treat every baby as if they were my own. My goal is always to help parents feel supported, rested, and confident while creating a safe and nurturing environment for their baby. I specialize in overnight newborn care, helping establish healthy sleep and feeding routines while giving parents the opportunity to recover and rest. I believe every baby is unique, and I work closely with each family to respect their parenting style and individual needs. Building strong relationships with families is very important to me, and many of the families I have worked with remain close to me long after my contracts end.

As soon as you meet Carla it will be incredibly obvious why you will only want her to be the one taking care of your newborn child. It is evident that her natural instincts and overall persona is exactly what every mom wishes for when they are going to select someone to help them with their newborn baby. Not only is Carla warm and patient, but she is knowledgeable and experienced, without being bossy. She almost floats around your home and brings you into a bubble of peace from the second she walks in. I have never had such peace of mind as when Carla helped us. Because of this I have referred Carla to every single friend when they share they are pregnant. Only a lucky few have reached out early enough to secure her. She is exceptional. If I could have nobody else help with my family ever it would be her. You will see when you meet her. Her passion is babies. She will know exactly what you and your family need from her and she senses it. Her talents are unmatched. She is truly exceptional. I would only have another baby if I could have Carla. I could never settle for anyone else. From the second she walks in the door Carla is somehow equally caring and professional and does not miss a beat.

Hi I'm Diane Nader Giresi, I'm a DONA Trained and Certified Postpartum Doula, a Certified Lactation Counselor and a Pre/Postnatal Fitness Trainer. I realized with the birth of my first child, that I had to include a wellness plan for my overall wellbeing. I believe we go through different journeys throughout our lives and with each journey, we face challenges. My goal as a postpartum doula, is to provide my clients with individualized non-judgmental support that encourages them on their journey as new parents. Continuing education is always at the forefront, so I can provide the most up to date evidence based research and resources. I attend many workshops and conferences on the ever changing protocols on tongue-tie and oral restrictions. I provide extensive lactation support if choosing to breastfeed. I help develop strategies for success, back to work plans, weaning, pumping, and flange fitting. In addition to newborn care, understanding cues, and newborn sleep patterns. Support looks different for each family. I listen to your needs and together we form a plan that serves your new family unit.

Being in postpartum has made a lot of things more difficult but Diane's help has made one of those hardest things so much more enjoyable and approachable. She was extremely non-judgmental, very attentive, and very observant. I thought all was lost and the meltdowns would be normal,,but after Diane's visit, both baby and I had a much easier time approaching breastfeeding.

I can't say enough great things about Jossy. We hired her as our postpartum doula for the first six weeks following the birth of my son. From the moment I first spoke with her, I was drawn to her easygoing attitude and comforting nature - I spoke with a number of doulas, and Jossy was the one I felt most at ease with. The conversation flowed naturally, and it was immediately clear how much she loves being a doula. Even though Jossy was only helping us with postpartum care, she was so sweet in sending regular check-ins leading up to my due date and giving tips and suggestions for issues I was dealing with. When I first met Jossy in person, I immediately felt completely comfortable around her and felt comfortable having her in our home and with our son. She quickly felt like a friend I could confide in and joke around with, which made all the difference in the first few weeks of postpartum. Jossy was so loving and sweet with our son, and it was so clear that she cared very deeply about his safety, wellbeing and happiness. After our overnights, she was always checking in to see how she was doing and offering ideas and suggestions of things to try with him. No matter how tired she was after back-to-back overnights, Jossy always arrived on time and with a smile. She was also so sweet with our high energy dog. Thank you Jossy for everything (and I wish we could have you to help us forever)!

Hi New Parents & Returning Parents, My name is Anjanette Rebecca. I’m birth obsessed & I finally have the courage to admit it. I’m a little of a lot of things. I’m a full spectrum doula who supports families and individuals across all walks of life. From zygote to 130 years old. Reproductive health is who I am. Bodily autonomy is what I’ve supported since I was a child. I stepped into my mother’s shoes at an early age. My mother was the original reproductive health guru. My mom passed away before I had time to say goodbye. Grief became the catalyst that changed my life for the best. I meet Individuals and families that are kind enough to trust me with something so sacred. That will always be one of the biggest blessing in my life. I’ve cared for thousands of clients locally & internationally. My ultimate goal is YOU. Your family, your very valid fears, your tears & your happiness. I guide expectant families and individuals in embodying their role as the first teacher in their children’s life. Our body is our children’s first home, it will and always should be respected. Dads, that includes you. Your little one finds comfort in your presence before they’re even born. Your voice and kisses will be one of your child’s favorite things. My business & my baby, Birth & Beyond, NYC is an extension of my family; fellow educators like myself, with a combined 206 years of supporting vulnerable populations in New York City. In October 2026, I will celebrate 26 years in the healthcare industry, 18 years as a registered nurse. It’s an honor to be a part of birth, an intimate time for families to come together. I navigated my first pregnancy alone-there’s so much power in being a single parent too. I’m here to hold individuals & families through one of the most breathtaking and potentially chaotic moments of their lives. Parenthood is a massive upgrade and a heroic space to hold. Please don’t let the internet scare you. It scares me! But we have access to so much information. It is normal to feel overwhelmed by it. I pray that you enter pregnancy & your birth space with confidence. Tap me in if you need someone to kick the door off its hinges, metaphorically speaking of course :) As for me, I’m a Brooklyn native, currently enjoying life in Staten Island, NY. I spend most my time having juicy conversations, tending to 179 indoor plants, barefoot & not pregnant :) I spend time off social media, reading books and finding myself in nature. Currently a scuba diver who tried free diving for the first time in 2025. I’ve swam with sharks & I'm here to tell the story. Background: I offer virtual birth & postpartum doula support, Lamaze childbirth ed, Spinning Babies classes, babywearing education, prenatal & postpartum mental health assessments & continued support, trauma informed & culturally aware care, placenta encapsulation, somatic music therapy, reiki & early intervention referrals. I am a mama of 2 (of the best children), my womb held three. My arms held 2 older children too. At 24 years old I was in charge of a 6 person household & I pray I will never see math homework again. I began my second degree in nursing 6 months after having my son. My rainbow baby. With struggle comes expansive gains. Christina was wonderful from the beginning! I connected with Christina in the beginning of my pregnancy and she was supportive and had my back right up until my baby was born. We had monthly calls that were always very informative and made me feel so supported. During our calls Christina never rushed me or made me feel like my questions were silly. She also answered and questions I had in between our scheduled calls. Christina understood my vision for my birth from the beginning and helped me transfer care in the middle of my pregnancy. Christina made me feel confident, heard, and prepared for my delivery. She also helped me navigate complications during my pregnancy and gave me the tools to advocate for myself. During my delivery she came while I was in active labor and jumped right in. She brought fake candles and aromatherapy for me which were so nice. I had a hard time once my water broke and she really helped me through it. I also had to make the decision of continuing with labor or getting a c-section and she talked it through with me and my boyfriend. I ended up getting a c-section and she stayed with me in the OR the entire time. She was also a huge support for my boyfriend who was extremely scared for me and our baby. She also took amazing pictures of my surgery and or me and my boyfriend during the c-section. I was pretty out of it and didn’t realize she was taking pictures which I’m so thankful for now. I also asked Christina if she would make prints with my placenta after the delivery. She was happy to do so and they came out beautiful! Christina stayed with me and my family until about 5 am to make sure we were all ok. Christina exceeded my expectations and truly made my pregnancy so wonderful. My birth did not go as I planned but her support truly made the difference for me. She has also been a huge support postpartum! She is a wonderful doula and human being and I highly recommend her for your pregnancy 💕

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Sarah! From the very beginning, she was such an incredible source of knowledge, reassurance, and support throughout my pregnancy. She has this amazing ability to make you feel completely informed, empowered, and confident, while also bringing such a calming, warm, and comforting presence to every conversation. What makes her so special is that she doesn’t just provide information, she truly makes you feel cared for. Her warmth, kindness, and confidence are contagious, and I feel so lucky to have had her as part of such an important chapter of my life. I couldn’t recommend her more highly to any expecting mom. She is truly one of a kind, and I am so grateful for her! ❤️

Great experience with Forever Doula. Sarah was excellent to coordinate with and answered emails quickly. Elizabeth, our doula helped make our first few weeks with a newborn so much easier. She went above and beyond to answer all our questions and you could see how much she truly cares and has a passion for caretaking. Highly recommend!
