Hello my name is Becky Vanoverbeke I am a Full Spectrum doula but have decided to start off as a Postpartum doula to start off due to my experience with babies. I used to be an Early Childhood Educator and worked mostly with toddlers and babies through my 10 years of working. My mission is to help postpartum mother get the rest they need so that they can fulfill there time looking after their children feeling relaxed and not emotionally drained. I’m a momma to 3 incredible babies, my love for pregnancy and babies started at young age, I always knew I wanted to be a mom. I decided to get into birth work after my first baby was born. I have experienced 3 vastly different births myself including a c-section and 2 home births. I am so passionate about vbacs and home births but I support all births and everyone’s decisions. Hello there! I'm Marissa I'm a Birth and Postpartum Doula, a Somatic Birth Trauma Healer and trained in Closing of the Bones Ceremony. I'm located in Hamilton, Ontario. I have 3 sons- 9,4 and 1.5. I'm very blessed to have experienced a hospital birth, unassisted birth and a free birth. My path to becoming a doula began before I even realized it. After supporting my sister and brother-in-law with my newborn nephew, I experienced firsthand how vital compassionate, hands-on support can be during those early days. That experience sparked a deep passion in me for creating positive, empowering birth and postpartum journeys. After welcoming my second child, I followed that calling and completed my doula training so I could support other families in a meaningful way.
