Amanda "Mandy" Wilson is a registered nurse and IBCLC whose path into lactation grew from both her work in Labor & Delivery and her own breastfeeding experience after the birth of her first son in 2015. She became an IBCLC in 2021 after several years of helping new parents with breastfeeding in the hospital setting. Mandy takes a conservative, individualized approach to feeding support. She focuses on helping families understand their options, simplify what feels overwhelming, and choose strategies that fit their goals and circumstances. She values responsive care, practical positioning support, and using feeding tools only when they are genuinely useful. Her nursing background also informs her ability to recognize when collaboration with other medical professionals is appropriate.
