Hi, Looking for a doula to help me prepare for childbirth and be present at the birth - hoping for a medicated vagina birth in the hospital (Jersey City Medical center). This is my first child. My husband and I have no family in the country (we’re British from the UK) and so extra support is needed. Would also like support after during the postpartum stage. Having consistent, knowledgeable, and compassionate support throughout this entire journey is very important to me.

We prefer an experienced provider (3+ years) who can help us take care of our 4 month old during the day, such as feeding him, holding him while he falls asleep, and playing with him while he is awake. We want the provider to be able to help us cook or prepare meals as well. We are open to part time and full time but prefer part time to start as we are new to parenting. Our maximum budget is $35/hr
