What's the Cost of Hiring a Night Nanny in Temple, TX?

The cost of a night nanny in Temple, TX can vary depending on factors such as experience, qualifications, and specific services provided. On average, the cost can range from $15 to $25 per hour. It's important to research and interview potential night nannies to find one that fits your budget and meets your specific needs.

The cost of a night nanny in Temple, TX can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Temple, TX, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

Reyna was honestly such a huge help for our family, especially in those first few weeks. She supported me with breastfeeding in a way that felt patient and encouraging, never pushy or overwhelming. Whenever I was struggling or unsure, she took the time to walk me through things and made me feel a lot more confident. Her night nanny support was a lifesaver too. Being able to rest knowing our baby was in such caring and capable hands made a world of difference. She handled everything so calmly and gently, and I always felt at ease. What really makes Reyna stand out is how real and caring she is. She shows up with so much warmth and genuinely wants to help. It never felt like just hiring someone—it felt like having someone in our corner. Shr was always there to pick up the phone or answer a text. I’d absolutely recommend her to any family needing extra support.

Angelique Woodstock

Hi, I’m Angelique — a birth doula, childcare professional, and mama with a deep passion for supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I believe birth is one of the most transformative seasons in a woman’s life, and every mother deserves to feel heard, informed, supported, and cared for throughout the journey. My role as your doula is to provide calm, compassionate, judgment-free support while helping you feel confident in your choices and connected to your birth experience. My philosophy centers around education, advocacy, emotional support, and creating a peaceful environment where families can feel safe and empowered. Whether you’re planning an unmedicated birth, epidural, induction, cesarean, hospital birth, or home birth, I believe there is no “one right way” to give birth — only the way that feels right for you. I support parents by offering evidence-based education, comfort measures, encouragement, partner support, and a grounding presence throughout labor and postpartum. I value gentle, family-centered care and strive to help parents enter this new chapter feeling strengthened, supported, and deeply seen.

Angelique is amazing. The amount of support during my postpartum journey has been phenomenal! The prayers, the amount of phone calls I’ve made constantly since my daughter is my first child and all of the information given has made me at ease in my mind and heart. She is super knowledgeable on ALL things baby and postpartum. She made time to come visit me in person as well to make sure my wellbeing was in good shape! Thank you for everything!

Tara Garner

Tara Garner

Hi! I'm a postpartum doula building on a lifetime of loving babies and littles. Beginning with babysitting as a young teen, my fascination with and delight in tiny humans has fueled much of my volunteer and ministry work over the years. Now that I'm mom to 3 pretty incredible young adults, I was thrilled to find the field of postpartum doula work that is such a natural fit! I did my CAPPA training in May 2024, and completed the certification process in June 2025. What a gift and honor it is to be invited into a client’s home and to support and encourage new families as they make the transition to adding a new little person to their mix! Remembering so well how it feels to be a new mom, I love to help make life as easy as I can during this sweet and exhausting time! Cedar Park has been home for 11 years. Outside of my doula work, I'm cheering on my kids' various activities, having a great meal with my husband, or curled up with a good book.

Tara worked with us as a postpartum doula for our newborn baby earlier this year (2025) for around 2 months. I would highly recommend Tara as your postpartum doula. The reasons for my recommendation are as follows: 1. Tara is a very good doula. She is knowledgeable, experienced, and she genuinely loves caring for babies. She is evidence-based in her approaches, and she is a good teacher too -- she always explains her methods and ideas in a very clear manner. For example, she taught us about baby sleep cycles and how to tell which phase the baby is in. This practical knowledge really helped us understand our baby's sleep patterns. 2. Tara is very professional and always courteous. She is very polite, and has a warm personality. It is very easy to talk to Tara, from baby related topics to interesting experiences in life, and everything in between. 3. Tara is a trustworthy person. When Tara worked with us, I always felt very comfortable leaving my baby with Tara. I know that my baby will be in good hands, and that gives me peace of mind, and I can focus on running errands or getting some sleep. I highly recommend Tara to any family seeking caring, professional postpartum support.

I cannot recommend my doula, Krissa Robert, enough. She was truly incredible and fit right into our beautiful chaos like she had always been part of our family. From the very beginning, she not only supported me but also took the time to teach my husband exactly how to help and comfort me through labor, which made such a huge difference in my experience. She came prepared with so many thoughtful tools and comfort items that helped me through each stage, and she also shared helpful ideas ahead of time so I could feel confident and ready. Throughout the entire birth, she stayed right by my side, reassuring me, encouraging me, and grounding me when I needed it most. Honestly, I don’t think I could have done it without her. Because of the care, strength, and love she poured into one of the most important moments of my life, she will forever be a part of our family.
