About me

Hi, I’m Tisa. I am a certifying labour and Postpartum Doula and proud mom of six beautiful children. I consider myself to be a compassionate person who strives to help you and your family navigate this new exciting chapter of your lives. I strongly believe it is my mission to help you have not only a positive postpartum journey but to help better assist and equip you with all the right tools for success. My passion for birth work began 20 years ago after the birth of my eldest son. Due to a series of events that could have very well crippled me only made me stronger. I was very fortunate to find access to many great regional programs and I met someone who not only poured wisdom into me at a young age but believed I could do great things in this field of work. I will never let my birth trauma define me, rather it has shaped me into who I am today. I am dedicated to providing assistance, support and spreading the message that you are not alone. My role as your doula is to provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support. I am committed to empowering you to make informed decisions. The Postpartum stage isn't a race, it's about picking up the little pieces we may lose along the way. When I am not attending a birth or working overnight postpartum shifts, you can most likely find me in the comfort of my home surrounded by my family. My house is filled with laughter, playful banter, persistent chirps from my Lovebirds and Conure, yapping can be heard from the family Pomeranian; Mochi. I enjoy worship nights held by my church, reading webtoons, soaking up k-dramas and building miniature wooden puzzles and book-nooks.
