I've been supporting families in the prenatal, birth and postpartum period for over 15 years. I currently work primarily as a lactation consultant, but I'm also a Registered Nurse, Certified Doula- Postpartum and Infant Care and Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator. I do lactation home visits and postpartum doula support in the Pittsburgh area. I specialize in supporting families from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ families, international families and families of all configurations and backgrounds. I love learning about languages and cultures as well as helping families learn to understand their babies' language and development. I also support families with sleep questions via Holistic Sleep Coaching methods.

I was born & raised in New York, attended Fordham University at Rose Hill, Bronx NY and Ross University Medical School, where I completed my Pediatrics residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, Bronx NY. Although I loved helping children and young adults of all ages, I always gravitated towards newborns. Breastfeeding moms and babies often don't get the care and attention they need to thrive. So after careful consideration, I realized I could have a positive impact on newborns as a Lactation Consultant. As an IBCLC, I am well equipped to provide newborns, moms & their families with comprehensive breastfeeding support services, while still working in medical field.

My journey into birth work began with my own transformative postpartum experience as a mother, which inspired me to support others through the deeply personal and powerful seasons of pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. I take a wholistic approach that centers each family’s unique needs with care and compassion. With a strong focus on maternal mental health and emotional well-being, I’m a dedicated advocate for informed, empowered choices and gentle, supportive care.
