Hi there, I’m Becky and have been working with new families since 2016 as a doula and parent educator in the Los Angeles, Ca and surrounding communities. I truly believe the support of a new mother starts during pregnancy and through the first year postpartum. I am a first generation Latinx woman and use the pronouns She/Her/Ella. I primarily grew up in Whittier, CA, but spend several years in Nayarit, Mexico. I am married with 3 beautiful children of my own. I dream of raising a house full of kids that can grow up together. When I had my two babies, I knew I wanted to attempt the natural route, and natural I went. My baby girl was born at home in 2023, and my baby boy was born at a birth center in 2025. Having experienced birth in such sweet and different ways, I decided how in love with the birth experience I was. I am a birth doula who specializes in unmedicated births. I love supporting women and their partners in the process of welcoming a new life into the world. I have two kids myself (one medicated, one unmedicated) so I fully know what childbirth feels like and am able to support moms in a specialized way. *Currently on maternity leave for the remainder of 2026* Birth and babies are my passions. I started the journey to becoming a birth doula shortly after having my second baby, Colton. My first and second births were completely night and day. My first baby, Caleb, was an incredibly long and strenuous labor; a total of 72 hours. With my second, however, I was only in labor for a total of 25 hours, which still is very long, but not by comparison. I owe a lot of that to my amazing birth team I had for my second birth, which included a midwife and doula support, and the education I gained throughout my pregnancy on how to prepare my body for birth. I believe in a holistic approach to birth. I don't think birth should be treated as a medical emergency until proven that it needs to be. Birth is a natural, beautiful thing, and while modern medicine absolutely has its place, I don't think it automatically belongs in every birth space. That said, I support every way to give birth, because in the end you're the only one in control. If you want an epidural, membrane sweep, Pitocin, all the drugs, I will absolutely support your decision. Or if you want to deny all cervical checks, do intermittent monitoring, and have your baby in the tub, that's great by me too! My priority as your doula would be to give you access to all the information you need to make well informed choices and give you the support you need to make your birth experience exactly what you want

Hi, I’m Maribel, a DONA International-certified birth doula and birth photographer based in Irvine, serving Orange County and select surrounding communities in South Los Angeles County/South Bay, the western Inland Empire, and North County San Diego. I didn’t always know what a doula was. I found this work because I needed that kind of support myself, and experiencing what it felt like to have someone calm, familiar, and fully in my corner changed the way I understood birth. Eventually, it changed the direction of my work too. Today, I try to offer families that same sense of steadiness and connection. Before labor, we build a relationship and practice tools so the day feels more familiar. During birth, I adapt to what you need: hands-on comfort, positioning, breathing and relaxation, experience with different tools, a softer ambiance for relaxation, partner coaching, and support around informed decisions. I am especially intentional about partners; my role is to support them, not take their place, so they can spend less energy wondering what to do and more energy simply being your partner. After birth, I stay connected with early postpartum care for the families whose births I attend, including emotional, educational, and practical support within my scope. Photography comes from my love of real-life storytelling. Birth is so absorbing that there are parts of your own story you may not get to see while you are living them: the looks, the gestures, or the small moments surrounding the first time you meet your baby. My documentary approach is quiet and unobtrusive, preserving those pieces so you can return to them later. Birth photography may be booked on its own or woven into doula care. My broader full-spectrum doula work also includes standalone abortion support, pregnancy loss, and infant loss support. Eligible doula services may be covered through Medi-Cal or select commercial insurance benefits.
