I loved having Annie as my doula! As a first time mom, I had a lot of questions regarding my health and how to prepare for labor and delivery. Annie took her time to meet with me multiple times, and would make herself available to me for phone calls for random questions I had. She really gave me peace of mind having someone to talk to that is experienced in pregnancy and birth. I also had gestational diabetes and lots of pelvic pain during my pregnancy, and Annie's knowledge in physical training helped me so much to know what exercises to do for both conditions. She met with my husband and I to prepare us for labor, and coach him on what he could do to alleviate my pain. During labor and delivery she was readily available and now I have a beautiful healthy baby girl!

I believe with every conviction that mothers hold innate wisdom to birth their babies. , I honor your intuition through holistic care and embodied practice—supporting you through pregnancy, birth, and the sacred postpartum transition. As your Sister in Christ, I offer faith-based birth support for those wanting so. We approach your labor as an act of worship—leaning on prayer and rejoicing to reveal God's strength and love for you. I am a community-first birthworker, passionate about making holistic wellness, coaching, and education accessible to women in my community. My work blends embodied childbirth education and hands-on support across pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As a Birthing From Within–trained mentor, I offer education that goes far beyond information—our work honors the inner journey, emotional landscape, and transformation that birth invites. Alongside this, I provide holistic, nurturing care including herbal remedies, gentle bodywork, mindful movement, breathwork, and food as medicine—supporting the body’s natural physiology while tending to the nervous system and spirit. My Philosophy: Honoring the MotherBaby Dyad I intimately understand and uphold the crucial MotherBaby bond and believe in family-oriented care that follows natural instincts. This belief shapes every facet of my postpartum support and education: Attachment Parenting: I educate and support families in honoring bonding practices such as exclusive breastfeeding, safe bed-sharing/co-sleeping, elimination communication, and babywearing. Holistic Recovery: I offer nourishing, restorative care in the first 40 days, drawing from my training as a Postpartum Practitioner mentored by Pilar Chandler, Doctor of Ayurveda for Women’s Health. Lactation Philosophy: The Power of Human Milk I am deeply committed to the evidence supporting human milk as the optimal standard for infant nutrition. While I support all feeding choices with heart, my philosophy is rooted in the conviction that exclusive breastfeeding provides unparalleled protection and nourishment. This is not just "good"; scientific consensus confirms that breast is best for both maternal and infant health outcomes.

Hi, I'm Monica—the heart behind Bloom & Breathe Doula Co. I'm a proud Mexican and Guatemalan woman, born and raised in Southern California, where family, community, and caring for others have always been at the center of my life. At 31 years old, I've spent the last five years working in the field of child development, supporting children and families through some of their most important milestones. That passion naturally led me to birth work, where I discovered my calling: walking alongside growing families with compassionate, evidence-based care during one of life's most transformative seasons. As mom to an energetic, fun-loving, and incredibly kind two-year-old who wholeheartedly believes he's Spider-Man, motherhood has been the greatest gift of my life, and it's given me a deep appreciation for the joys, challenges, and incredible strength that come with raising a child. Happily married to the man who made me a mom and my biggest source of support throughout my pregnancy, labor, and delivery, he stood beside me every step of the way—offering encouragement, reassurance, and unwavering love. Experiencing that kind of support firsthand shaped my understanding of how powerful it is to feel truly seen, cared for, and advocated for during birth. It's one of the reasons I'm so passionate about ensuring every family feels supported in a way that reflects their own needs and values. I believe every parent deserves to feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As your doula, my role is to provide continuous emotional, physical, and educational support while honoring your unique preferences, values, and birth goals. Whether you're planning an unmedicated birth, an epidural, a scheduled cesarean, a VBAC, or anything in between, I am committed to creating a calm, judgment-free space where you feel confident making informed decisions for yourself and your baby. My approach is deeply personal because no two families are the same. I take the time to understand your hopes, answer your questions, and support you through every stage of your journey. From prenatal preparation and labor support to postpartum care, my goal is to ensure you always feel informed, nurtured, and never alone. For me, being a doula is about so much more than birth—it's about building meaningful relationships and helping families begin this new chapter feeling confident, supported, and deeply cared for. It would be an honor to walk alongside you, celebrate your strength, and help you welcome your little one with peace, confidence, and unwavering support.

Working with Monica of Bloom & Breathe Doula Co. was an incredible experience. From the moment she walked through the door, she brought a sense of confidence, calmness, and reassurance that made me feel safe and supported throughout labor. One of the most helpful parts of having Monica as my doula was her confidence and words of affirmation. As I navigated the intensity of labor, her calming presence helped me feel more relaxed, comfortable, and trusting of the birth process. I especially appreciated how naturally she stepped in wherever support was needed. There were moments when my partner needed to step away or wasn't quite sure what to do, and Monica seamlessly stepped in to provide support. My partner also felt supported knowing she was there to guide us and help whenever needed. I never felt judged or questioned. My wishes and birth preferences were always heard and respected. I truly didn't expect to feel as comfortable and safe as I did during such an intense experience, but Monica made that possible. Having Monica by my side made such a meaningful difference in our birth experience. Her ability to recognize what was needed, offer encouragement, and provide both physical and emotional support made her an invaluable part of our team. We are so grateful to have had Bloom & Breathe Doula Co. be part of such a special day. I would absolutely recommend Monica to any family looking for a compassionate, confident, and supportive birth doula! If you're looking for a doula who genuinely cares about your experience, listens to your wishes, and makes you feel supported every step of the way, Monica is the person you want in your corner. Birth is such a vulnerable and life-changing experience, and having someone like her beside you makes all the difference. I couldn't imagine having anyone else support us through this journey.

My goal is always to hold space where families feel both protected and empowered as they step into parenthood. Outside of birth work, I bring a warm, down-to-earth energy and love finding joy in the small things, whether that’s roller skating, music that sets the mood, or laughter that makes a hard day feel lighter. I believe joy is part of healing too, and I try to carry that into every space I’m in.

Carla is a true God send! I'm so grateful to have found her. I was searching for a doula because I needed someone to go into the labor/delivery room and advocate for me should things not go as planned. With her help and guidance, I was able to labor successfully at home, managing my own pain, and she was right there with me to welcome my little one into the world. After leaving the hospital, I struggled tremendously with breastfeeding. She knew how important it was to me so she wouldn't let me give up. Thanks to her wisdom and helpful tips, I successfully nursed my little one for a yr and a half! Thank you again!!

Hi, I’m Yoli! 🤍👶 I’m a certified doula, an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, and the proud **founder and owner of Vida Birth Support . Vida is a Latina-owned business based in Riverside County, California, proudly serving families throughout the Inland Empire and surrounding communities. As a bilingual provider, I am passionate about offering compassionate, culturally sensitive care in both English and Spanish, ensuring that every woman feels understood, respected, and genuinely supported—without language barriers. With years of hands-on experience in Labor & Delivery and Emergency Care, I have witnessed both the incredible beauty of childbirth and the challenges women face when navigating the healthcare system. Throughout my nursing career, I have cared for women during some of their most vulnerable and empowering moments. I have also witnessed too many mothers enter the delivery room feeling overwhelmed, unprepared, unheard, or uncertain about their choices. I knew I wanted to be part of changing that experience. That passion is what inspired me to create Vida Birth Support.💗 My vision was to build something that goes beyond traditional birth support—a place where education, advocacy, compassion, and empowerment come together to help women take an active role in their birth experience. At Vida, our mission is simple yet powerful: **To empower women through education, advocacy, and personalized support so they can approach childbirth feeling confident, informed, respected, and supported.** ✨ **Education Is Empowerment** We offer comprehensive childbirth education classes designed to help expectant mothers and their families understand the incredible changes happening throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Our classes focus on understanding the stages of labor, pain management options, medical interventions, recognizing potential complications, understanding patient rights, and learning how to communicate effectively with the healthcare team. I believe that when a woman understands her body, her options, and her rights, she becomes better equipped to make informed decisions for herself and her baby. ✨ **Compassionate Doula Support** In addition to education, Vida provides personalized birth and postpartum doula services centered on emotional reassurance, physical comfort, encouragement, and continuous support. Our goal is to create an environment where mothers feel safe, respected, and empowered throughout their journey. Whether you're preparing for your first birth or welcoming another little blessing, our team is here to walk beside you, provide guidance, and help ensure your voice is heard. ✨ **A Mission Close to My Heart** As a Latina woman, a mother, and a nurse, this work is deeply personal to me. I understand the importance of having someone by your side who not only understands the medical aspects of childbirth but also recognizes the emotional, cultural, and personal significance of bringing a new life into the world. I am especially passionate about helping bridge the gaps in maternal healthcare and advocating for women who may feel overlooked, intimidated, or unheard. My goal is to build a community where every mother, regardless of her background, language, or circumstances, has access to education, compassionate support, and the confidence to advocate for herself. At Vida, I believe: 🤍 Every mama deserves to feel heard. 🤍 Every woman deserves to understand her choices. 🤍 Every birth deserves dignity and respect. 🤍 Every family deserves compassionate, culturally sensitive care. 🤍 And every mother deserves to enter her birth experience feeling prepared, powerful, and supported. Vida Birth Support is more than a business to me. It is my passion, my purpose, and my commitment to making a meaningful difference in maternal healthcare. I created Vida because I believe we can do better for our mothers, our babies, and our communities. My calling is birthwork and motherhood, and in this season, I believe my mission is centered on nurturing the mother so she can nourish the fruit. Myself as The Milk Root Doula ™ was born from a deep desire to restore my ancestral lineage and power of Black and Brown breastfeeding, providing a space where nourishment is reclaimed as a radical act of love. I am rooted in the belief that when a mother is firmly planted in support, her entire family can bloom. While my heart is dedicated to closing the gaps in Black maternal health, I welcome all families who value an evidence-based approach to the sacred transition of birth and infant feeding. I am a firm advocate for all birthing people and every infant feeding choice. Whether you are nursing, pumping, or formula feeding, my priority is a healthy baby and a whole, supported mother. I bring a unique "doula heart and clinical mind" to this work, backed by a B.S. in Maternal and Infant Health from Howard University and years of experience as a clinical birth assistant and doula. At The Milk Root, I bridge the gap between academic excellence and the intuitive power of the perinatal period. Whether I am assisting you through the intensity of labor, providing peer lactation support, or guiding your mental and emotional wellness, I am here to ensure your journey is protected. I don’t just offer services; I offer a foundation—helping you grow deep roots so your family can thrive for generations.

“I’m an IBCLC and Certified Nurse Midwife with an independent practice providing both full-scope midwifery care and comprehensive lactation services across hospital and community settings. My lactation work spans the full clinical spectrum—from establishing breastfeeding in the immediate postpartum period to managing complex feeding challenges such as low milk supply, delayed lactogenesis, post-cesarean lactation, and infants with dysregulated feeding patterns. I have extensive experience in detailed newborn oral evaluation, including identification and functional assessment of anomalies such as ankyloglossia. I integrate these findings into individualized care plans and frequently collaborate with interdisciplinary providers for frenotomy when indicated, as well as provide structured pre- and post-procedural feeding support to optimize outcomes. My approach is evidence-based, highly individualized, and focused on measurable outcomes. I prioritize effective milk transfer, protection of maternal supply, and long-term sustainability of the breastfeeding relationship. My care plans often incorporate structured supplementation strategies—including the use of supplemental nursing systems to maintain feeding at the breast—alongside selective, clinically appropriate use of galactagogues. I place strong emphasis on ongoing reassessment and adjustment to ensure interventions remain effective. I also have experience supporting higher-risk dyads, including late preterm infants, NICU graduates, and cases involving maternal endocrine or perinatal factors impacting lactation. Working across both inpatient and community environments has given me a clear understanding of care transitions and the gaps families encounter after discharge, allowing me to provide more cohesive, continuous support. My midwifery background strengthens my ability to assess the full maternal–infant dyad and identify contributing factors early, supporting more efficient and durable lactation outcomes. I’m confident practicing autonomously and value strong collaboration within multidisciplinary teams, with a consistent focus on delivering practical, clinically sound, and patient-centered lactation care.”
