I loved having Annie as my doula! As a first time mom, I had a lot of questions regarding my health and how to prepare for labor and delivery. Annie took her time to meet with me multiple times, and would make herself available to me for phone calls for random questions I had. She really gave me peace of mind having someone to talk to that is experienced in pregnancy and birth. I also had gestational diabetes and lots of pelvic pain during my pregnancy, and Annie's knowledge in physical training helped me so much to know what exercises to do for both conditions. She met with my husband and I to prepare us for labor, and coach him on what he could do to alleviate my pain. During labor and delivery she was readily available and now I have a beautiful healthy baby girl!

Hi, I'm Monica—the heart behind Bloom & Breathe Doula Co. I'm a proud Mexican and Guatemalan woman, born and raised in Southern California, where family, community, and caring for others have always been at the center of my life. At 31 years old, I've spent the last five years working in the field of child development, supporting children and families through some of their most important milestones. That passion naturally led me to birth work, where I discovered my calling: walking alongside growing families with compassionate, evidence-based care during one of life's most transformative seasons. As mom to an energetic, fun-loving, and incredibly kind two-year-old who wholeheartedly believes he's Spider-Man, motherhood has been the greatest gift of my life, and it's given me a deep appreciation for the joys, challenges, and incredible strength that come with raising a child. Happily married to the man who made me a mom and my biggest source of support throughout my pregnancy, labor, and delivery, he stood beside me every step of the way—offering encouragement, reassurance, and unwavering love. Experiencing that kind of support firsthand shaped my understanding of how powerful it is to feel truly seen, cared for, and advocated for during birth. It's one of the reasons I'm so passionate about ensuring every family feels supported in a way that reflects their own needs and values. I believe every parent deserves to feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As your doula, my role is to provide continuous emotional, physical, and educational support while honoring your unique preferences, values, and birth goals. Whether you're planning an unmedicated birth, an epidural, a scheduled cesarean, a VBAC, or anything in between, I am committed to creating a calm, judgment-free space where you feel confident making informed decisions for yourself and your baby. My approach is deeply personal because no two families are the same. I take the time to understand your hopes, answer your questions, and support you through every stage of your journey. From prenatal preparation and labor support to postpartum care, my goal is to ensure you always feel informed, nurtured, and never alone. For me, being a doula is about so much more than birth—it's about building meaningful relationships and helping families begin this new chapter feeling confident, supported, and deeply cared for. It would be an honor to walk alongside you, celebrate your strength, and help you welcome your little one with peace, confidence, and unwavering support.

Working with Monica of Bloom & Breathe Doula Co. was an incredible experience. From the moment she walked through the door, she brought a sense of confidence, calmness, and reassurance that made me feel safe and supported throughout labor. One of the most helpful parts of having Monica as my doula was her confidence and words of affirmation. As I navigated the intensity of labor, her calming presence helped me feel more relaxed, comfortable, and trusting of the birth process. I especially appreciated how naturally she stepped in wherever support was needed. There were moments when my partner needed to step away or wasn't quite sure what to do, and Monica seamlessly stepped in to provide support. My partner also felt supported knowing she was there to guide us and help whenever needed. I never felt judged or questioned. My wishes and birth preferences were always heard and respected. I truly didn't expect to feel as comfortable and safe as I did during such an intense experience, but Monica made that possible. Having Monica by my side made such a meaningful difference in our birth experience. Her ability to recognize what was needed, offer encouragement, and provide both physical and emotional support made her an invaluable part of our team. We are so grateful to have had Bloom & Breathe Doula Co. be part of such a special day. I would absolutely recommend Monica to any family looking for a compassionate, confident, and supportive birth doula! If you're looking for a doula who genuinely cares about your experience, listens to your wishes, and makes you feel supported every step of the way, Monica is the person you want in your corner. Birth is such a vulnerable and life-changing experience, and having someone like her beside you makes all the difference. I couldn't imagine having anyone else support us through this journey.

As a bilingual provider, I am passionate about offering compassionate, culturally sensitive care in both English and Spanish, ensuring that every woman feels understood, respected, and genuinely supported—without language barriers. With years of hands-on experience in Labor & Delivery and Emergency Care, I have witnessed both the incredible beauty of childbirth and the challenges women face when navigating the healthcare system. Throughout my nursing career, I have cared for women during some of their most vulnerable and empowering moments. I have also witnessed too many mothers enter the delivery room feeling overwhelmed, unprepared, unheard, or uncertain about their choices. I knew I wanted to be part of changing that experience. That passion is what inspired me to create Vida Birth Support.💗 My vision was to build something that goes beyond traditional birth support—a place where education, advocacy, compassion, and empowerment come together to help women take an active role in their birth experience. At Vida, our mission is simple yet powerful: **To empower women through education, advocacy, and personalized support so they can approach childbirth feeling confident, informed, respected, and supported.** ✨ **Education Is Empowerment** We offer comprehensive childbirth education classes designed to help expectant mothers and their families understand the incredible changes happening throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Our classes focus on understanding the stages of labor, pain management options, medical interventions, recognizing potential complications, understanding patient rights, and learning how to communicate effectively with the healthcare team. I believe that when a woman understands her body, her options, and her rights, she becomes better equipped to make informed decisions for herself and her baby. ✨ **Compassionate Doula Support** In addition to education, Vida provides personalized birth and postpartum doula services centered on emotional reassurance, physical comfort, encouragement, and continuous support. Our goal is to create an environment where mothers feel safe, respected, and empowered throughout their journey. Hi, I’m Maribel, a DONA International-certified birth doula and birth photographer based in Irvine, serving Orange County and select surrounding communities in South Los Angeles County/South Bay, the western Inland Empire, and North County San Diego. I didn’t always know what a doula was. I found this work because I needed that kind of support myself, and experiencing what it felt like to have someone calm, familiar, and fully in my corner changed the way I understood birth. Eventually, it changed the direction of my work too. Today, I try to offer families that same sense of steadiness and connection. Before labor, we build a relationship and practice tools so the day feels more familiar. During birth, I adapt to what you need: hands-on comfort, positioning, breathing and relaxation, experience with different tools, a softer ambiance for relaxation, partner coaching, and support around informed decisions. I am especially intentional about partners; my role is to support them, not take their place, so they can spend less energy wondering what to do and more energy simply being your partner. After birth, I stay connected with early postpartum care for the families whose births I attend, including emotional, educational, and practical support within my scope. Photography comes from my love of real-life storytelling. Birth is so absorbing that there are parts of your own story you may not get to see while you are living them: the looks, the gestures, or the small moments surrounding the first time you meet your baby. My documentary approach is quiet and unobtrusive, preserving those pieces so you can return to them later. Birth photography may be booked on its own or woven into doula care. My broader full-spectrum doula work also includes standalone abortion support, pregnancy loss, and infant loss support. Eligible doula services may be covered through Medi-Cal or select commercial insurance benefits.

Maribel was an incredible support person for my wife and me throughout every step of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. From the beginning, she brought a calm, reassuring presence and shared a lot of knowledge about pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care. As first-time parents, we had a lot of questions, and Maribel always made us feel comfortable asking anything without judgment. We especially appreciated her support on the day of birth. She arrived while my partner was in labor fully prepared with supplies for comfort measures, including massage rollers and other techniques that helped during labor. She also guided me in how to better support and comfort my partner throughout the process. Maribel had a grounding presence in the room — she observed and supported us through very intense moments without intervening unnecessarily or overstepping. Another gift she gave us was capturing beautiful photos during our time at the hospital. Those moments were so special to us, and we’re so grateful she took the care to capture them. After the birth, Maribel continued to support us by meeting with us to debrief our experience, help us navigate newborn care approaches, and provide breastfeeding support. Those first few weeks at home can feel extremely overwhelming, and having her guidance during that time was very valuable. We would absolutely recommend Maribel to anyone looking for a reliable doula.

After feeling dismissed and intimidated into making decisions against my better judgment during my first birth, I knew I wanted a different experience the second time and specifically sought out advocacy--hiring Britt as my doula was one of the best decisions I made. From the beginning, she was incredibly relatable and easy to talk to, taking the time to truly understand my preferences, concerns, and goals. Her background as a former high-risk RN, combined with her doula training, gave me so much confidence. She explained things clearly, helped me make informed decisions, and always made sure I felt heard and respected. No matter what questions or worries I had, she met them with patience and reassurance. Even though my birth didn't go as planned and ended in an unplanned C-section, Britt's support never wavered. She was a steady, calming presence throughout and helped me feel empowered and cared for every step of the way. I'm so grateful for her support and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly supportive doula. During such a vulnerable time where appointments can feel impersonal and too "routine", it was such a blessing to feel/know that someone really genuinely cared about me, my pregnancy and by baby!

honestly don’t even know where to begin because words cannot express how grateful I am for Peaceful Passages Birthing Support Center. As a first-time mom, I was excited about having my baby, but I was also terrified of labor and delivery. I had so many questions, fears, and moments when I doubted myself. From our very first conversation, I knew I had found the right team. My doula was absolutely AMAZING! She was patient, compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about me and my baby. I never felt like just another client. She checked on me throughout my pregnancy, answered my endless questions, and helped me feel prepared for something I had never experienced before. But it was during my labor that I truly realized how blessed I was to have her. There were moments when I felt like I couldn’t do it anymore. She never left my side. She held my hand, helped me breathe through contractions, applied counterpressure, encouraged me, and reminded me how strong I was. When things became overwhelming, she was my calm in the middle of everything. She was also incredible with my husband. She guided him on how to support me and made sure he felt included in the entire experience. What really stood out was how knowledgeable and professional she was with the nurses and doctors. She helped me understand my options, encouraged me to ask questions, and made sure I felt heard without ever making me feel pressured. After my baby arrived, the support didn’t just stop. She continued checking on us and making sure I was doing okay physically and emotionally. I genuinely believe my birth experience would have been completely different without Peaceful Passages. This wasn’t just a doula showing up to do a job. This was someone who genuinely cared about me, my baby, and my entire birth experience. If you’re pregnant and wondering whether hiring a doula is worth it, PLEASE do yourself a favor and contact Peaceful Passages Birthing Support Center. I would choose them a thousand times over. They gave me something I will cherish forever: a birth experience where I felt safe, supported, empowered, and never alone.

Hello 🙂 My name is Marchael, and I am from Pomona, California. My journey into becoming a doula stem from my deep love for natural birth, witnessing the beauty of babies being born, and providing support to women during pregnancy and labor. Before pursuing formal training as a doula, I had the privilege of attending three hospital births. These experiences sparked a profound interest in natural childbirth and fueled my passion for supporting mothers during this transformative time. I began following midwives and doulas on social media sites such as YouTube and Instagram, truly immersing myself in their knowledge and practices. It was during this time that I realized I was drawn to this field. A close friend asked me to be her doula and without hesitation, I said yes. That experience solidified my desire to pursue formal training and turn this passion into a career. My background as a nanny for babies aged 6 weeks to 2 years, in addition to my time working as a travel nanny, has given me valuable experience in caring for infants and supporting families. I’ve always been naturally welcoming, positive, nurturing, and supportive. Qualities that I believe align perfectly with the role of a doula. These personal attributes, combined with my hands-on experience and love for natural birth, have confirmed that this is my true calling. I am thrilled and look forward to helping your family navigate the beautiful journey of welcoming your little blessings into the world.

To me the most important thing about this work is the human touch. Having grown up attending births in my family, I am a supportive, intuitive experienced doula who centers the whole family. You are the parent, not the patient to me. I focus on helping you move your body in ways that will help bring the baby down, using my hands, heart, and breath work at the center of my care. I have experience with many community births at home and in birthing centers (Simi Valley Birth Center and the Brooklyn Birthing Center), as well was with many hospital births in Los Angeles, Ventura, New York City, and Seattle. I am passionate about giving normal, humanizing service and advocacy to disabled and high risk parents to center your voice, needs, and access from start to finish. In order to provide a stronger service within the disability community, I work with a partner or group.

Working with Alison was a wonderful experience. From the beginning moments of telling her about my pregnancy through to the post natal experience, she showed her strong intuitive skills, used her sense of humor and was able to guide us through this wondrous process. Alison was especially helpful at offering clarity around my choices in labor and especially a strong supporter when I felt pressure from my team of doctors to take the epidural. Alison reminded me that I had a choice and that freed me to make the right decision for me. Alison was also adept at councelling my husband and I throughout our pre labor experience around the myriad of changes, emotions, wonders and fear that having a child brought up for us. She always provided a safe environment for us that was healing, engaging and fun. Alison used her intuition to guide us in working together as a couple and was able to read exactly what we needed individually and together. Alison used her own weatlth of knowledge from various areas in her life to support us and remind us of the constant flow that occurs in labor and in child rearing. This helped me to trust in the process; something I am not always great at! Her kindness and ability to be present and focused was an immense help to me in the delivery room. From talking a family member away from the delivery room, to navigating doctors, to coaching my husband to helping me and giving me space when needed was amazing. I happily and whole heartedly recommend Alsion to work with as a birthing partner and aly on the birth journey.

I had a wonderful experience with Tremaine. Before hiring her I was very nervous and she helped me prepare for labor mentality, emotionally and physically. My hospital birth was great all thanks to her. She really helped me a lot during labor by using aromatherapy, massage, positive affirmation, and guiding me on movements to help me cope with contractions. After labor she continued checking on me and gave me great advice that helped me heal. I recommend Tremaine because she has very caring, helpful and knowledgeable.
