Logan Halsted

Packages from $1,200

Hello! I'm Logan! My journey to becoming a doula was deeply influenced by my own personal experiences with childbirth. I've experienced a range of birth scenarios, including two cesarean sections, and three VBAC births. After my initial two C-sections, I felt a strong desire for a better birth experience. This led me to immerse myself in research about birth and VBAC options. With the knowledge I gained, I felt empowered to pursue a VBAC and was successful in achieving three vaginal births. I am passionate about educating and empowering other women to understand their options and feel supported in making the best choices for their own birth journey. I'm here to support you, as together we research, learn, and prepare for the birth you envision. I'm proud to be a certified doula through the West Michigan Midwifery Institute, and I'm committed to providing compassionate and informed support to every woman I serve.

When I got pregnant with our fourth child my husband and I both knew without a doubt that we wanted Logan to be our doula. She’s everything a pregnant momma could ask for! Logan is a great encourager, advocate, and educator. She takes the time to listen to other people’s needs and desires and works to make those a reality. I have complicated pregnancies and Logan made sure to take the time to do some research regarding my needs, pointed me to many valuable resources, and helped me think through what the best options were for me. She is honest, yet gentle and genuinely cares about those she works with. Logan was willing to go to doctors appointments with me as well to help voice my desires when my OB was unwilling to listen to or work with me. With her by my side I always felt much more at ease and prepared to welcome a precious new life into the world. I would choose Logan for a doula again every single time, hands down!

With experience as a Lactation Peer Counselor and a mother of four, Mary brings a unique combination of professional knowledge, hands-on experience, and genuine compassion to every family she serves. Her passion for postpartum care was shaped by her own motherhood journey, including the experience of welcoming a premature baby and navigating time in the NICU. These experiences gave Mary a deep appreciation for the emotional and physical challenges that can accompany the postpartum season and strengthened her desire to provide families with the reassurance and individualized care they deserve. Mary believes postpartum support should extend beyond caring for the baby. Her approach centers on nurturing the entire family by helping parents rest, recover, build confidence, and feel more comfortable in their new roles. From newborn care and feeding guidance to overnight support, she strives to create a peaceful, supportive environment where parents can focus on healing, bonding, and enjoying those precious early moments with their baby. With her background in lactation support, Mary is especially passionate about helping families navigate feeding with confidence and without judgment. She understands that every family and feeding journey is different and takes the time to offer encouragement, education, and support tailored to each family’s needs. Claire Stibich

My name is Claire and I am starting my doula journey. I feel that I have been called to support women during pregnancy and postpartum. I'm outgoing, supportive of your choices as a mother, and a great listener. I am skilled at de-escalating situations in which you may feel panicked or afraid, and explain things in simple terms so that they aren't overwhelming. I will advocate for you in whatever situation you need, whether with a high-pressure medical provider or your nosy mother-in-law. I have worked with children 5 to 18 years old who have mental, physical, and emotional handicaps as well as a multitude of students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder. Working with these students has brought me so much joy and understanding of a world that can be very hard to explain to those with no experience in it. Whether it is you, your children, or loved ones who identify with the previous disorders, I would be beyond honored and ecstatic to help work through the crazy mystery and miracle of birth. I am currently going through the certification process to be a doula and need to attend three births to be fully certified. I am looking to help anyone I can in this process.

Claire was my doula throughout my entire pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. She went with me to doctors visits and spoke up for my needs when I didn’t feel like I could advocate for myself. She was constantly researching ways to solve each unique problem I would have, such as ways to help my hyperemesis graviderum, finding unique foods that would stay down, or baby products that would accommodate specific needs that I or my neurodivergent husband had. She also taught my husband how to care for me when he felt incapable of helping me. During my natural homebirth Claire helped me stay calm and in a positive headspace while making sure my birth plan was followed. I was able to breathe baby out without any interventions and I credit so much of that to Claire’s support. Postpartum she helped me to the bathroom, helped me change my diapers, and even bathed me and washed my hair when I felt incapable of taking care of myself due to a painful tear from the birth. She came when I hadn’t slept in 48 hours post birth and took care of my newborn so I could sleep. Any time I called Claire she would just let me talk, release any anxieties I was having, and then help me come up with a practical plan to solve my problem. She is a fantastic listener and she was never condescending or made me feel silly for any of my anxieties or little problems. I truly could not have gotten through any of the pregnancy stages without Claire’s support and would highly recommend her to everyone, especially if you are neurodivergent and need someone who will stand up for you in any situation. Thank you, Claire!
