The cost of a night nanny in Yuma, AZ can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Yuma, AZ, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

I have always had a passion for working with children and families. I grew up on a small island in the heart of the Florida Keys. From an early age, I began babysitting and nannying. Once I graduated from high school, I decided to major in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Psychology. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and returned to the Keys to teach elementary school. For 10 years, I worked with many families and children of different ages and abilities, including those with special needs. During this time, I also began practicing yoga and as cliché as it may sound, yoga changed my life. It has provided me with an outlet to focus the mind, control the breath, and explore and appreciate the body. I decided that I wanted to share the powerful and lasting benefits of this practice with others. I have studied hatha, vinyasa, yoga philosophy, meditation, standup paddleboard yoga, and pregnancy + postnatal yoga. It was during my pregnancy + postnatal yoga training that I became interested in becoming a doula. I felt compelled to find a way to provide much needed support for individuals and families before, during, and after birth. I decided then, to pursue a new life and career path. I trained through DONA International to become a certified birth and postpartum doula. I have taken various additional trainings such as Body Ready Method®, Spinning Babies® workshops, rebozo techniques, LGBTQ+ family equality, Spinning Babies® certified parent education, basics of breastfeeding, and infant first aid and CPR. I am committed to using my experience, knowledge, and ability to hold space to provide unbiased informational, emotional, and physical support that empowers you to make the right choices for yourself and your family.

I cannot express how much Shaina helped me in my pregnancy and birth experience. This was my first time giving birth. For our initial virtual visit, she shared so much information on different types of stretches, movements, and hospital jargon that was very beneficial beforehand. I ended up being induced due to a medical reason, and I don't think I could have given birth without Shaina. She help me with contractions by using a tens machine, she used pressure points, massaged my shoulders while I was in pain, reminded me to relax and how to breathe. When you're in a high stress moment like birth, you forget all of the things you learned, ex. Breathing/moving, so it was helpful to have someone to remind you of the helpful tools! Most importantly, she was an amazing advocate. I consulted her when it came to making decisions during labor. She was so knowledgeable, she would often advocate on my behalf to the nurses to get me what I needed! She didn't take no for an answer! I was so grateful to have her be part of my birth experience, and I would highly recommend her to any woman who wants to feel supported in birth!

As a first-time mom and someone who really does not function well without sleep, postpartum was probably what I was most nervous about... (especially after having a necessary C-section!) I interviewed a couple different postpartum care teams and found the Newborn Dream Team immediately made me feel at ease. The first few weeks after giving birth were honestly a lot. Between recovering from my C-section, figuring out life with a newborn, and not having family in town, I was much more anxious and overwhelmed than I expected to be. I cannot thank Danielle, Pamela and Abbey enough for being there for us during that time. They were so helpful in those early weeks, not only with the baby, but with helping us figure out what worked for our family. They answered all of my questions, gave me reassurance when I needed it, and helped me feel more relaxed and confident as a new mom without ever making me feel like I didn't know what I was doing. I was breastfeeding, and they were so supportive of that while also helping us introduce a bottle. They always let us lead with what we felt most comfortable with and never made us feel pressured to do things a certain way. And honestly, being able to get some much-needed sleep knowing our baby was safe and in such good hands was *priceless.* They also helped us establish a really great routine and healthy sleep habits, and our baby was sleeping through the night by five weeks! We will miss Danielle and Pamela SO much, but it makes me so happy knowing they're always in our corner. I truly cannot recommend Newborn Dream Team enough. They made those first few weeks so much easier and more enjoyable, and I am so grateful we found them. 🤍

This September, my husband and I had the pleasure of having Noa as our birth doula, and we truly couldn’t be more grateful for her and Alex. From the very beginning, we felt so comfortable, supported, and connected with them. They made themselves incredibly accessible throughout the entire experience and provided us with resources for anything we needed, even beyond what they directly covered. I had a 20-hour labor and delivery that was completely unmedicated, and I truly don’t believe I could have gotten through it without Noa by my side. Her encouragement, guidance, and reassurance through every stage of labor and every intense contraction were exactly what I needed. Because of the labor preparation they provided, my husband felt confident helping me through the beginning stages of labor, and once we got to the hospital, he and Noa worked seamlessly as a team to make sure my needs were always being met. As a nurse myself, I initially didn’t think I would need an advocate to help me with my birth preferences. But we were incredibly grateful to have Noa there. She was there to remind the healthcare team of our wishes, advocate for our preferences, and remain firm when needed, allowing my husband and me to stay focused on the birth of our baby. Noa was such an integral part of one of the most important experiences of our lives. She went above and beyond in every way, and we will forever consider her family. We are so grateful for everything she did for us and already know she will be by our side for all of our future births. We cannot recommend Noa and Alex enough! ❤️

As a postpartum doula, I’m committed to offering gentle, reliable support that helps your family feel grounded, confident, and truly cared for after birth. I believe it truly does take a village! Through my own journey with a spirited toddler, I’ve experienced firsthand how transformative (and challenging) the shift into parenthood can be. For the past two years I have worked as a full-spectrum doula, now devoting most of my practice to supporting families in the postpartum period, and have had the privilege of serving more than fifty postpartum families. My calling to this work is deeply personal. Having lost my own mother during adolescence, I grew into my maternal nature early. That experience shaped my understanding of how essential nurturing, presence, and steady support truly are, especially during the vulnerable days and weeks after birth. I bring that perspective into every home I serve. My approach is grounded, compassionate, and practical. I aim to create a calm, affirming space where parents can rest, heal, learn, and feel genuinely cared for. At the heart of my work is a simple mission: to make a meaningful difference for families during one of the most tender and powerful transitions of their lives.

Brie worked with us as our post-partum doula and I could not have been more thankful to have found her! She did nights with us, at first 3 nights/week for 6 weeks and then we hired her for an additional 2 nights/week for 10 weeks because she was just that wonderful! She was so calm and caring. On the nights she worked with us, she would let herself in to our house, take our daughter and send us to bed and my husband and I both slept soundly knowing that our baby was in good hands which allowed us to feel better and be so much more present during the day. When our daughter needed to feed, Brie would bring her to me or bring me my pumps and then when I was done, I would text Brie and she would come in and take back over and I got to go back to sleep. Brie helped with tasks during the night such as doing laundry and even made me breakfast in the mornings before she left to ensure I would eat. I have recommended Brie to all of my friends and many of gone on to work with her and also had positive things to say. I cannot recommend her enough and if we were lucky enough to have another child in the future would 1000% want to work with her again!
