About me

Hi, I’m Amber — a birth and postpartum doula and the heart behind The Barefoot Doula. I was drawn to birth work because I believe mothers deserve to feel supported, informed, and deeply cared for during one of the most vulnerable and powerful seasons of life. Birth isn’t just about bringing a baby into the world — it’s about caring for the person becoming a mother. As a doula, I offer calm, continuous support throughout pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. I support families in hospital, birth center, and home birth settings, and I work alongside your chosen provider to help you understand your options, advocate for your preferences, and feel confident in your decisions. My approach is grounded, gentle, and non-judgmental. I value physiologic birth, informed consent, and emotional safety, and I support all families in making the choices that feel right for them. I’m especially passionate about nurturing mothers — emotionally, mentally, and physically — during birth and the transition into parenthood. I serve families in Stillwater, OK and surrounding areas, and I would be honored to walk alongside you during this journey.
