I have Cigna insurance and am looking for a compassionate, experienced birth doula who can provide prenatal education, continuous labor support, and postpartum guidance. I would like someone who is calm, knowledgeable, and advocates for informed decision-making while respecting my birth preferences. This is my first baby, so having emotional support, comfort measures during labor, and breastfeeding support after delivery are important to me. Experience working with first-time mothers is preferred.

Hello providers I need help to breastfed my baby. He is not latching properly. It feels like he is biting my nipple, specially left one. And he always shows a sign of hunger after breastfed.

My birthing center requires to hire a doula for first timers, not sure how expensive that is, someone on the holistic side that understands how we want to parent and advocate for us.

I currently have an OBGYN that does accept my medicaid. I had a c section with my daughter in 2022, and I really want to try for a vaginal birth. My OBGYN and I are not connecting as I would like and I did more research and feel better finding a mid wife or doula that I can connect with and listen to my wants and needs. I appreciate it! I plan on giving birth in a hospital setting. have medicaid health insurance. I believe its a cooks childrens plan but I would need to double check.

Plan to give birth at fort worth birthing and wellness center. Our estimated budget is very low which is why i am looking for one covered by medicaid. Birth plan i want to be as unmedicated as possible, focusing on pain management techniques that are not medicated. I have Texas star medicaid but have not picked a plan yet. I came across your profile and wanted to reach out because I'm currently looking for a birth doula. I wanted to see if you participate in the TRICARE Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Demonstration. From my understanding, TRICARE covers up to 6 hours of antepartum and/or postpartum doula visits (which can be divided into 15-minute increments however we'd like), along with one continuous labor support visit during the birth. I also understand that, to be eligible for TRICARE coverage, doulas must be certified through one of TRICARE's approved certifying organizations (such as DONA International) and have an active National Provider Identifier (NPI) for billing. Are you certified through a TRICARE-approved organization and do you have an active NPI? If so, I'd love to learn more about your services, your availability around my October due date, what your birth support includes, and how the TRICARE billing process works. Since this is our first baby, I'm hoping to find a calm, supportive doula who has experience working with first-time moms and who works well alongside my husband, as he'll be my primary support person during labor. We're expecting our first child, a daughter, on November 6th, and we're currently at 25 weeks. We'll be delivering at Texas Health Harris Methodist Southwest in Fort Worth with Dr. Stacy Butler, so experience at that specific hospital is a plus. The main reason we want a doula is that I will be my wife's only support person in the room. We don't have family nearby and aren't planning to have anyone else at the birth, so we're looking for someone who can provide continuous support through a long labor and give me a chance to eat and rest without leaving my wife alone. Reliable backup coverage matters to us for the same reason. A few things that are important to us: My wife wants to keep her options open on pain management, including an epidural. We're looking for someone who will support whatever she decides in the moment rather than steering her toward or away from any particular kind of birth. We are formula feeding exclusively and have already made that decision, so we'd like a doula who is comfortable with that and won't push breastfeeding. We are not religious. We don't mind if a doula is personally religious, but we would prefer that faith, prayer, or scripture not be part of our birth experience. We're also interested in hands-on preparation. Childbirth education as part of a package is something we'd consider. Having birth doula, postpartum doula, as well as night services available from the same provider is a plus. We'd like to book within the next few weeks and are flexible on scheduling consultations, including evenings and weekends.

I'm still learning about newborn care and feeding options. As a first-time mom, I'm looking for someone who can provide newborn care guidance and support. Light baby-related tasks, such as bottle washing, baby laundry, and nursery organization, would be appreciated. But my goal is to get ahead of post partum. I'm proactive and eager to learn, so having someone who can answer questions and help me build confidence as a new parent would be valuable.
