My goal is a low-intervention birth with freedom to move during labor, use natural comfort measures, minimal cervical checks when appropriate, delayed cord clamping, immediate skin-to-skin contact, and uninterrupted bonding time after birth. I would prefer to avoid induction solely for convenience or to speed up labor and do not want to feel pressured into a cesarean birth unless it is medically necessary. I'm looking to have my second child here at home on the farm, want a natural non invasive birth with support from someone who's seen a thing or 2. My Budget is no higher than $5000 as I just need someone there for the birth. I'm not one to say that you need 20 years experience but preferably someone who's been doing this for more than 5.
