have been a doula since 2007 and have had the opportunity to attend a variety of births including medicated, non-medicated, multiples, VBAC’s and home-births. I use many tools to help a woman cope in labor including massage, pressure points, movement, aromatherapy and I am trained in using a TENS unit and have units that I let my clients use for their labor. I love teaching some of the tricks I have learned over the years to the dad and helping him feel a part of the birth. My goal is for the mom and dad to feel like “WE did it” as they hold their sweet baby. I feel passionate about a woman’s power and ability to have the kind of birth experience she longs for. Lindsay Scott, Certified Doula Lindsay is a Colorado native and lives in Aurora with her husband and three children. Lindsay has always been interested in pregnancy, birth and postpartum. After she had her children, she realized there is a definite need for Doula support, knowledge and advocacy, so she changed her career path and trained to become a certified Doula and now attends and supports births. Lindsay also works with a local non-profit organization offering on-call Doula support to a local hospital where she attends and supports one to two births per month.
