Kim was the ideal person to care for our baby and for our family as a whole during the early months after our son's birth. We chose her because of her warm presence and excellent background, and she immediately connected to our baby. She's calm, thoughtful, and always reliable. Kim is kind and loving, as well as open to our influence, studying up on the parenting styles, sleep/feeding preferences, and developmental philosophies that have become a part of our daily routine. Hayden was a wonderful doula to have at my first birth. Her experience with a TENS unit, acupressure points, and applying counter pressure during all my contractions was crucial to my smooth labor. She kept track of all my contractions and when they began to get farther apart she encouraged me to start walking. She also coached my husband and sister on counter pressure so they could help me as well. Hayden’s calm presence helped keep me stable and focused throughout the day and I’m so thankful that she could guide me through my first birth!
