The cost of a night nanny in Camden, NJ can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Camden, NJ, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

I believe that pregnancy and birth are powerful life experiences that deserve care, education, and continuous emotional and physical support. My goal is to create a safe, calm, and supportive environment where families feel informed, confident, and heard. I am committed to helping clients understand their options, advocate for their needs, and make decisions that align with their values and birth preferences. Through encouragement, comfort techniques, and evidence-based information, I support families throughout pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. My mission is to ensure every family feels respected, empowered, and supported during one of the most important journeys of their lives.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about OS Care Service. From the very beginning, Olga made me feel supported, informed, and truly cared for. Her calm presence and deep knowledge helped ease my anxieties throughout my pregnancy and especially during labor. She provided not only physical comfort techniques but also emotional support that made such a difference in my birthing experience. Olga was attentive, patient, and always available when I had questions or needed reassurance. After the birth, her newborn care support was just as incredible—she helped me feel more confident as a new parent and made the transition so much smoother. If you are looking for someone who is compassionate, professional, and genuinely passionate about what she does, I highly recommend OS Care Service. Having Olga as my doula was one of the best decisions I made for myself and my baby.

Hi, my name is Amanda Sands. I’m a mom of three, certified postpartum doula, and the owner of Mama Love Doula, LLC, based in Pennsburg, PA. My doula team and I provide daytime and overnight postpartum support to families throughout Montgomery, Bucks, Lehigh, and Berks Counties, as well as the Main Line. To me, mothers are the heart of the home. When moms are supported, everything else flows. With the help of a postpartum doula, mothers can rest and heal from childbirth, enjoy nourishing meals without the stress of preparing them, and focus on bonding with their baby—without worrying about cleaning, laundry, or everything else that comes with caring for a newborn. I believe that when mothers receive this kind of care and support, they don’t just get through postpartum—they truly thrive. When I’m not supporting families, you can find me spending time with my kids, snuggling with one of my three cats, listening to music, or getting lost in a good book. I genuinely love to clean (yes, really!), enjoy getting outside for walks and practicing yoga, and I’m always on the go running my kids to their many activities—especially during baseball season! It would truly be an honor to support you and your family during your postpartum journey. Learn more: www.mamalovedoula.com www.instagram.com/mamalovedoula

Amanda was our "fairy god-doula!". She was incredibly kind, patient, calm, and was vital to our transition as new parents. Not only did she care for our newborn, but she also made sure we were cared for as well - with nourishing meals, clean laundry, making sure the house was tidy, and giving us time to rest and reset. Her presence made the "newborn trenches", which can be overwhelming to most, a period of comfort and calm in our home. It allowed me to focus on my own recovery and spend quality time with my baby, which I will always cherish. I am so grateful for her services and could not imagine how I would have gotten through that time without her.

Recent review

Katia has been my postpartum doula and caregiver for my baby boy since February 2025. She consistently takes initiative in ways that truly lighten my load as a new mom. One moment that stands out was when she noticed I was juggling baby care and chores—without me even asking, she washed the baby's clothes and bedsheets, took out the trash, and even helped cut vegetables for dinner. She always notices what needs to be done and jumps in with such care and thoughtfulness—it’s clear she’s not just doing a job, but genuinely wants to support and nurture. This was my first baby, and I had never used a doula service before, so I was initially skeptical and a bit anxious about having someone new in our home during such a vulnerable and emotional time. But from the very beginning, Katia made me feel at ease. Although she has extensive experience with babies, she remains open and flexible—listening carefully to my needs and respecting our preferences. She remembered all the little things I mentioned and adapted her care accordingly. Even now, with my baby being 8 months old, I still turn to Katia when I need someone trustworthy to watch him for a few hours. That’s how much confidence and comfort she’s brought to our family. Both my husband and I are deeply grateful for her help—having Katia as our doula has been such a positive and reassuring experience. She made a lasting impact on our early journey as parents, and any family would be incredibly lucky to have her by their side.

My name is Grace Kovitch and I am a certified birth and postpartum doula, as well as craniosacral therapy practitioner located in Emmaus, Pennsylvania. When I started off as a birth doula, I quickly saw the drop off in care that happened with postpartum mothers, and have dedicated my career to making sure every new mom is educated, supported, and cared for. Postpartum support is truly where my heart is, and I love seeing the moment where a new mom starts to feel confident in her new role. When I'm not supporting families, you can find me hiking, backpacking, or spending time with my loved ones.

I am delighted to recommend Grace Kovitch as a postpartum doula. Her sweet nature, care and compassion, and knowledge of newborns made her truly invaluable to our family throughout our daughter’s first four months. Her presence allowed our family to rest, recover, and truly enjoy the precious moments with our newborn. From the moment she stepped into our home, Grace provided a calming presence and a great knowledge about newborn care. She not only assisted with practical needs—such as soothing techniques, infant care, and light household tasks—but also provided the emotional support and reassurance that every new parent needs. Her warm and nurturing nature made all the difference during such a transformative time. (We knew she was the perfect fit for our family when our doberman wouldn’t leave her side! He now waits for her every night!) Additionally, her punctuality and reliability show the level of care she possesses for her clients. I wholeheartedly recommend Grace to any family in need of postpartum support. She is an incredible resource, and any family would be beyond lucky to have her by their side during the postpartum journey.

Welcome! I'm Chelsea, a mom of 2, and owner of Moonlight Maternity, where I practice as a Full Spectrum Doula, Lamaze International trained Childbirth Educator, and Newborn Care Specialist! I truly feel my purpose is to spend my life trying to make a positive impact on motherbaby health and wellness, and to help foster thriving families from the start. Changing things for the better in the maternal healthcare field is a monster to tackle, but I know that being able to positively impact even just one family at a time will lead to a generational ripple effect, and there's nothing more beautiful to me than to imagine a future like that. For as long as I can remember I wanted to be in the world of birthwork! My favorite show as a kid was "a baby story", (I know... I was a weird kid lol) a show that followed pregnant people through their journey and birth experience, and by the time I was a teenager I knew I wanted to become a Midwife. I was enrolled in a Midwifery program for over a year and on the way to making my dreams come true. Then, when I was 19, I found myself unexpectedly pregnant and everything came to a temporary halt while I spent time focusing on raising my son as a single mother, and working full time to support us. The birth of my son was an incredibly traumatic experience unfortunately, but inspired within me an even greater drive and passion to make a difference. I knew more than ever how important information, advocacy, autonomy and empowerment are during pregnancy and birth experiences. Having those things directly relates to how confidently you begin your motherhood journey, the way you trust your intuition, and the way you raise your babies. I realized on a more personal level exactly how important it is to try to prevent negative outcomes and experiences in the birth space...something which I knew before, but deeply understood now. Over the years, I spent my free time educating myself more, reading anything I could get my hands on, watching birth vlogs on YouTube- still always deeply passionate about birthwork, and longing to find my way back to it. I found my wonderful husband along the way when my son was 2 years old, and we got married a few years later. He has always supported my love of birthwork and encouraged me to chase my dreams. I helped friends and family through pregnancies, birth, the postpartum period, and breastfeeding using everything I had learned, and loved any opportunity I had to talk to people about the subject. The idea of becoming a doula was something I talked about frequently, but didn't feel it was possible for me to act on timing wise. The people in my life who love me always encouraged me and believed I could do it, and one day, a conversation with an amazing friend flipped that switch for me to take the leap, and the stars finally aligned! That same day, I immediately started researching training organizations and what type of doula I could become, spent a while finding the program I felt was best for me, went to start the application, and it just so happened they had a scholarship opportunity available that closed the very next day. The requirements were to write an essay about why I wanted to become a doula, any issues or hardships that have kept me from doing so, a bit about my life story, and to share how I dreamed I could impact my community through my work. To me, this seemed like a no brainer and the easiest, most exciting thing I had ever written...my dreams becoming reality were on the other side of that essay. I got it done quickly and submitted my application for the scholarship before dinner time that night. I nervously waited to hear back, and a week later, I received an email congratulating me with a full scholarship opportunity! The most beautiful and affirming part of all of this to me, is that the day it all happened- the conversation, taking the leap, the scholarship opportunity... just so happened to be my birthday...a sign I took to be the universe confirming & guiding me on the path to my life's purpose. I still get chills thinking about how it all fell into place perfectly, and am so grateful it did. Once training began a few weeks later, it affirmed further everything I felt about my passion for this work... I finally felt aligned with my dreams, and a sense of knowing that this is how it was all supposed to happen- all in the right timing for me. In 2022, I had now been a Full Spectrum Doula for over a year, and my husband and I were elated to find out we were pregnant with a baby girl! I felt so much more confident throughout my pregnancy, knowing that this birth was going to be fulfilling, redeeming, and everything I had always hoped for. My experience was truly something incredible...I was able to see the beauty of knowledge, empowerment, and healing come full circle. I gave birth on my own terms, my body and my choices were respected and held with care, I was surrounded by support and love, and my soul was healed as my daughter was born- a re-birth of me as well. A beautiful opportunity to step into a new phase of motherhood and womanhood confidently! Experiencing pregnancy and birth again myself through new perspective was cathartic, eye-opening, and truly life changing for me. I will forever hold that in my heart, and an experience like that is ALWAYS my goal for my clients. In practicing birthwork, I offer a holistic and practical approach, ensuring that in the balanced approach I take, my clients feel confident in themselves and in my support. I take pride in being able to support the entire reproductive journey and have a personal connection to each modality of care that I offer, so my heart is in it all. Whether you're with me for pregnancy & birth, fertility, postpartum, loss support, or anything else, I will give you an unmatched level of attention and care- something I hold with the utmost importance. I will always offer quality time and opportunity for real connection. I don't believe in being surface level with each other, because birthwork is intimate and sacred. Connection is comfort and a nervous system at ease. I want you to feel safe, nurtured, and at-home in my presence. I want to hold space for your thoughts, feelings, needs, and comfort. I'm always a safe space, a non-judgmental listening ear, and shoulder to lean on when you need it most. All of it matters to me, and the way it impacts your experience is important. During your pregnancy, we will spend plenty of time on evidence-based education, so you feel confident and empowered in informed decision making, and more clear on what you may experience during your birth. We will craft your ideal birth plan together so we can prepare to make it attainable. I'll make sure you understand the "why" behind birth experiences changing (as they always will), and that in creating that birth plan, what we're really doing is creating a woman who feels confident in standing strong in her choices, and in control of her own birth. I will never judge you for changing your choices or doing what you feel is best for you in the moment, and will continue to make sure you feel confident and supported no matter what. I will always be authentic and forthcoming, because I don't believe in infantilizing women when you deserve transparent information. Inauthenticity is not the kind of person I am anyway lol, and I hope that encourages you to be yourself around me too! Authenticity builds trust, comfort, and a feeling of safety in communication. I want to build on that connection with you, learn about you, have conversations that make you feel seen and held, and allow you to get to know me as well. As I said above, It means everything to me if you feel safe, nurtured, and at-home in my presence. Birth is intimate, raw, humbling, and empowering- honoring that for you is an honor to me. By extension, fertility beforehand, the postpartum period afterwards, your lactation journey, newborn care, and every part of the path to and through parenthood is intertwined. That's why I chose the path of Full Spectrum work, to be able to support you through any and every part of your journey should you want me to. I will dedicate myself to you, respect you, hold space for you, be a friend to you, and help you see that YOU are the most powerful and important part of it all. I'm excited to be a part of your journey- we're in this together ❤️

I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful it was having Chelsea as our doula for the pregnancy and birth of our baby girl. Being that this was our first baby, we were looking for guidance when it came to almost everything birth and labor related. Chelsea was so genuine, sweet, caring, knowledgeable, and considerate from the start. She was there for me via text/call and in person throughout my pregnancy, and her presence during my (long) labor and delivery was so invaluable. She was a calming wealth of knowledge when it came to labor techniques and advocating for me all the way through to baby girl’s arrival, and even postpartum. I’m so thankful to have had her with us and to have made a lifelong friend! I would highly highly recommend her to anyone and everyone in their birthing journey.

I’m Seana, founder of Happy Mother Doula, a mother of three, certified postpartum doula, and certified perinatal mental health professional. My work is dedicated to improving the postpartum experience so mothers feel supported, families feel more confident, and welcoming a baby comes with the care every parent deserves. My own experience with postpartum anxiety and depression shaped my commitment to this work. I provide compassionate, practical support through newborn care, feeding guidance, opportunities for rest, and emotional support—with the mother’s well-being at the center. I believe that caring for mothers strengthens the entire family. My goal is to help make postpartum a healthier, happier, and more supported experience, without the expectation of perfection.

Recent review

I absolutely LOVED working with Seana and having her support after I had my son. She helped me in so many ways, whether it be emotionally, psychically around the house, and just being there for me in tough moments and transitions. As a new mom, she taught me things I wasn't comfortable with yet, like setting up my pumps and showing me how to use them and also bathing my newborn. We had so many great laughs and she really brightened my postpardum experience. I know with each month as he gets older, new challenges arise, and I can see us needing her again down the road! It's never too early or too late to have her support!

Robin was such a wonderful addition to our home the first few weeks after welcoming #2. She is so loving and from the moment she stepped in and held our little one, I felt at ease. She cared for the baby, made sure I was physically and emotionally well, and when morning came things were set for our day to start easier. My husband was on the fence about overnight help and as with many families, it ended up being such a good fit for us that we extended the weeks she was with us. Happy to give one on one reference information if needed!

In the depths of my own postpartum dark night and fear literally spreading through the world on a global level, Bethany was the one simple, easy choice I made with zero regrets. Hmmmm. Do I want a loving, steady, calm, peaceful human being in my home? Do I want someone who will come with a song in her heart and thoughtful activities like children’s Yoga and books about Mrs. Badger’s mountain foraging adventures? Do I want that same thoughtfulness to radiate out to me in how she cares for my home while she’s there…the sink full of dishes done, the million little baby clothes all tidily folded and put away, the real human conversations that allow me today to call Bethany- not only an integral part of my support community-but also a friend? Yes! Yes. Yes. Yes. She’s worth every penny of the investment, and, even more than that…Mama, YOU are worth every penny of the investment. I think we are all waking up to the fact that how mothers and babies are treated matters. Not just to that one family she touches…but to the world as a whole. Bethany has devoted her life to centering the care of women and babies and, if you ask me, there is truly no higher or more impactful calling. 🩷

I have witnessed firsthand the extraordinary compassion, dedication, and warmth she brings to every aspect of her life. I wholeheartedly believe she will be exceptional in this role. Makeda’s work ethic is something I have always deeply admired. When she commits to something, she gives it her entire heart. She approaches this work not as a casual interest but as a true calling. She studies diligently and constantly seeks to deepen her understanding of maternal and newborn health. Her professionalism is evident in how seriously she takes her preparation and how she holds herself accountable to the highest standards in everything she does. One of Makeda’s greatest gifts is her ability to communicate with both warmth and clarity. She has a natural way of making people feel heard and understood. Whether she is offering guidance to a new parent, sharing information, or simply listening, she creates a space of trust and safety. I have watched her interact with expectant and new mothers, and her presence is immediately calming. She has an intuitive ability to read a room, to know when someone needs encouragement and when they simply need a steady, reassuring hand. This is a rare and invaluable quality for someone entrusted with the care of newborns and their families. At her core, Makeda is one of the most compassionate and caring people I have ever known. Originally from Trinidad, she carries with her a deep cultural appreciation for community, family, and the sacred experience of welcoming new life into the world. Her background working with children has given her a profound understanding of families' needs and the importance of nurturing support during life’s most tender moments. She has a remarkable gift for connecting with little ones, offering patience, gentleness, and a love that is felt deeply by every child she cares for. Watching her with the children in our family has only strengthened my confidence that she is meant for this work. Makeda’s passion has also inspired me to advocate. She is deeply committed to ensuring that every mother and newborn receives informed, compassionate, and empowering care. She understands the disparities in maternal and infant healthcare and is driven by a genuine desire to make a difference - one family at a time. She has the heart, the mind, and the spirit to be a truly outstanding Postpartum doula and Newborn Care Specialist. Any family that has her by their side will be profoundly fortunate.
