Hi, I'm Courtney — the founder of Golden Hour Care LLC, serving families across Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia. I bring over 10 years of hands-on childcare experience and 6+ years specializing in postpartum care, now backed by my Certified Postpartum Doula (CPD) and Certified Labor Doula (CLD) credentials through Birth & Baby University. My specialty is overnight support — helping exhausted new parents actually sleep while I handle feedings, soothing, diaper changes, and gentle sleep coaching. I have deep experience with multiples, including twins, and I love helping first-time parents feel confident rather than overwhelmed. Alongside overnight care, I offer lactation support and parent education so you're never left guessing. I'm CPR/BLS certified, fully insured, and treat every family's home and routine with warmth, discretion, and respect. My goal every shift is simple: you wake up rested, and your baby is thriving!

I believe all infants should be happy, safe, comforted, & taught all the milestones they need to prepare for elementary school. So I take my career very seriously & have a Passion for it. I believe in the importance for all members of a family to feel truly supported during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and it’s an honor to hold that space for others. With a background in child development and early intervention, I bring both knowledge and heart to my work. As a postpartum doula, trained with DONA, as well as a longtime nanny and child development specialist, my foremost priorities lie in helping my clients to feel safe, heard, and cared for. Hello everyone, my name is Cheryl Conley aka CC! I am a Newborn Care Specialist (Night Nanny) and Certified Postpartum Doula in the DC, MD, VA area. I am a Postpartum Doula on the Carrot Registry. Please look me up if you receive this benefit through your insurance!! Thanks! I have 2 daughters but miscarried 1 other, so I have empathy for you and your struggles and needs. I deeply desire to care for your baby(ies), to help you and your mate, heal and rest, that you may gain strength and clarity of mind again! I can help the whole family nurture the new baby and deal with the new responsibilities. Parents may need more emotional care, as well, during this transition time. I am punctual, rarely ill, very alert and assisting your baby(ies) with feedings, diapers, temperature control, sleep conditioning - then sleep training, folding clothes and clothing changes as needed. As your Postpartum Doula, I will research and implement strategies, assist with shopping, laundry, dishes, etc. I will help you care for yourself and/or baby as well as let the mate and the siblings find their importance in the enlarged family! I use a daily journal, like Baby Connect, to journal food intake, bowel movements, growth, mood, and activities of baby and mom! I generally work overnights, but am willing to work days when possible. In my personal time, I like to read and proofread, go bowling, walking, swimming, and participate in Christian activities.
