My birth plan is to try without interventions as long as I can but if need be that’s totally fine. I’m not against any interventions.

Hello, I am having to give birth in a hospital, but I want to have my baby natural. My doctor wanted me to have another c section but I told her I wanted to give my body a chance. I have a 3 year old and my husband as my family and that is it. We don’t have any other support. My birth plan is to labor at home as much as possible and then go to St. Francis when it’s the right time. I am not sure what my budget is, but I am open to whatever.

I’m looking specifically for support during birth. This is my second birth and the first was very traumatic specifically with the epidural. I’m now very fearful of getting another epidural and would like to try go the non-medicated route this time but I know that I will need extra support to accomplish this goal. I have Anthem bcbs through my husband’s employment with the city of Colorado Springs, if you have any experience with that it would be helpful as paying out of pocket would be hard financially for my family. I am looking for a holistic doula that can support me through my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum era. I don’t feel that my past obgyn doctors were anything but helpful and instead made me feel neglected or that I was asking for too much. I want a different experience full of support, love, and jokes. This pregnancy I want someone I can rely on in this new journey. I would love to have a black or indigenous doula.

We live in Crested Butte but will be giving birth at memorial central in Colorado Springs. Looking for VBAC support during labor. Will be going back to crested butte after newborn doctor visit so won’t need postpartum care.
