Claudia Kharkover
About me
Hi, I'm Claudia! I believe every family deserves to feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their pregnancy and birth journey. My goal as your doula is to provide a calm, reassuring presence while helping you prepare for birth, navigate your options, and feel empowered to make the decisions that are right for you. My approach is rooted in preparation and collaboration. Together, we'll create a birth plan that reflects your goals, prepare questions for your healthcare providers, learn comfort techniques for labor, and build the confidence to adapt if birth doesn't go exactly as planned. During labor, I'll provide continuous emotional and physical support while helping ensure that your voice remains at the center of your birth experience. As a University of Pennsylvania graduate with a background in maternal-fetal medicine research, my approach is rooted in evidence-based care and collaboration. I deeply value working alongside physicians, nurses, and midwives, and I believe the best birth experiences come from a strong partnership between families, their healthcare team, and their doula. My role isn't to speak for you, it's to help you understand your options, communicate your preferences, and feel supported every step of the way.
