This is my first pregnancy, and I would like to receive as much help as possible to deliver a healthy baby. I want to give birth at St. Joseph's Women's and am hoping I can labor at home before transitioning into the hospital. I have pregnancy Medicaid and haven't completed my birth plan as of yet. I'm currently 26 weeks and hoping to go full term.

Hi I am looking for a doula and a midwife that will listen to my needs and what I need and the baby needs.

We have 2 newborns. One is 2.5 weeks and one is 11.5 weeks. My husband is going back to work, and I had a c section hysterectomy with the birth of my daughter on July 10th. I am needing assistance caring for my newborns, as well as basic household duties as needed. My insurance Cigna covers, so I am looking for in-network options.

Hello, my little baby is hitting a week old on Thursday. Daddy and I are really struggling with the routine. The baby stays awake for very long periods of time and is very fussy, we are not sure what we are doing wrong. Looking for somebody that could come in house for a day and give us pointers on how to make this process smoother- is it something you can help with ?

I plan to have an unmedicated birth in a hospital. I would love to labor in water (ideally water birth but I believe they do not allow that in my required hospital). I am unsure of budget, just looking around right now. I want my birth to be as natural as possible, low intervention, working hard to avoid tearing and just creating a calm enviornment.

This is my first child and I’m moving to Tampa in the next couple of months. I would love someone to help advocate my wishes for my birth along with some guidance and support. My last birth was a freebirth at home, i would prefer to have a medical team of some sort on hand for a homebirth this time. I am currently uncertain on a budget. I would like to plan a homebirth if pregnancy remains low risk. Labor in a quiet, calm environment. Dim lighting. Minimal unnecessary interruptions. Freedom to move, walk, squat, kneel, or change positions as desired. Access to water for comfort measures and possible waterbirth if appropriate. I would prefer non medication comfort measures first. Water immersion, position changes, breathing techniques, massage and counter pressure, and encouragement from support people/team. I would like to avoid unnecessary interventions when i and the baby are doing well. Informed consent before any non-emergency procedures. I would also like to have clear explanations of risks, benefits, and alternatives before decisions are made whenever possible. For delivery i want to be able to push according to my bodys urges rather than directed pushing if safe unless i ask otherwise . Freedom to choose birthing position. I want the baby on my chest immediately if both of us are stable. The golden hour is very important to me. I want delayed cord clamping. I want my partners involved in the delivery and cutting the cord. I would also like to deliver our placenta naturally if safe. I would like to initiate breastfeeding as soon as possible. Routine newborn procedures delayed until after bonding when medically appropriate. Keep mother and baby together whenever possible. Transfer to hospital if medically necessary. Preference for clear communication throughout any transfer. I would prefer a provider who is open minded to odd family dynamics and who has been practicing for at least 5-6 years. I am 28 years old, this is my fifth pregnancy and hopefully fourth birth.

A little bit about me! I’m 24 years old and this is my first pregnancy. I am 29 weeks pregnant and I’m having a boy. I am giving birth at a birthing center called summit maternity care center in Port Charlotte, FL. They’re a faith based business! I plan to do an all natural birth and hopefully do it in water. I believe we were made to be fruitful and multiply as the Lord said, I believe our bodies were made to do this. So I’m looking for someone with the same values & beliefs. Someone that is encouraging, supportive & knowledgeable. I believe you would be a perfect fit for us. My estimated budget would be no more than $1000, realistically need a lower budget than that.

I think I might feel safer birthing at home. I want a voice. I also (as a first time mom/ first pregnancy) want information on child birth and all of the decisions i will need to make. i don’t know our budget yet, I just want someone I can trust with me and my baby.

I would like to do a home water birth. I don't know a budget because I'm unsure how much these things may cost and if insurance may be able to assist. I don't want to be medicated I would like a relaxing environment and comforting coach to help me get through it.
