Hi, I'm Chloe! I am a mom to two beautiful children and a Certified Birth and Bereavement Doula through Stillbirthday. I knew for a very long time that it was a calling; I discovered doulas and thought, "I would love to do that." I decided I wanted to Start my birthworker journey, when my unmedicated natural birth turned into a emergency C-section. Even though, I had labored at a birth center with 2 midwives. The decides to transfer me after several days of prodromal labor. My experience at the hospital was very traumatic, and left me unaware and sad. I didn’t have anyone to talk to about my experience. But my doula encouraged me to talk about it. I realized I wanted to be for other pregnant women and make a difference in how we care for pregnant women during and after their pregnancy. I recently became a mother in 2020 and to be honest, I didn’t have a great birth experience. Which is pretty normal. Until I learned that it didn’t have to be this way, which inspired my passion for birth work. I want birthing people to be empowered in their births and have the best experience possible.
