We are equipped with the tools to support birthing people through the entire spectrum of life (Full Spectrum Doula/Birthworker) and have true hearts for the dedication of birth and 4th Trimester/Post-Partum care. Every family will have a tailored birthing experience with us and we are so glad to be considered to be apart of your journey. Currently 3 birth workers and a peer support specialist dedicated to the support of the non-birthing partner/person is within Dear Trinity. We have been in 13 counties across North Carolina as well as 1 in South Carolina and expanding to Maryland in the Spring of 2024. Hello! I am Kelsie, a Catholic wife and mother of six. I am also a Certified Birth Doula and Childbirth Educator. My interest in birth started when I became pregnant with my first child and has only increased during my subsequent pregnancies and births. ​​​ As a Catholic Christian, I believe that how we bring our babies into the world matters! I want to help women have an empowering entrance into motherhood that is influenced by their own instincts, the latest research, and covered in prayer. ​ When I am not working as a doula you can find me reading a novel with a cup of coffee or podcasting and writing at Reading Revisited.

Maternal–infant health professional with extensive experience supporting families across the prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum continuum of care. I bring a service-oriented, patient-centered approach grounded in evidence-based lactation care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and culturally responsive support. I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Interdisciplinary Doula with hands-on experience in inpatient hospital settings, community-based programs, and private practice. My work has included high-acuity inpatient lactation support, home-based maternal–infant care coordination, peer counseling, and program development serving diverse and Medicaid-insured populations. Throughout my career, I have partnered closely with nurses, midwives, physicians, and community organizations to improve breastfeeding outcomes, strengthen continuity of care, and expand access to maternal health resources. Hi my name is Jerilyn Free but I go by “Jeri”. I am from the Triad are and am definitely a unicorn in this field. I am an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) and a Certified Birth Doula. I have been working as a Birth Doula since 2016. I have assisted in vaginal births, c-sections, vbacs, water births, virtual doula work, and have supported families that have dealt with a loss. My experience is wide! Currently, I work in a hospital as a Lactation Consultant. My special touch is assisting families in the early days of learning your baby. Working with teens/young adults. These times are very important. Many times birthing parents may not get that special attention. So as a doula and an LC, I am can be there at the birth and can assisting you with your feeding needs. I am one of the Community Directors for Mahogany Milk as well as the Coordinator and Lead for Mahogany Milk Drops at the YWCA in Greensboro. I am a mother of 3 girls, each who I breastfed. I have 4 years of experience owning and operating my own in-home daycare, caring for children ages newborn to 3 years old, and I’m also CPR certified and have my associates in Early Childhood Education. Outside of running my daycare I've worked in childcare centers and have done basic babysitting since I was 16 years old! I’m also a mom to a 2-year-old daughter, and caring for little ones has always been something I truly love. I decided to get into birth work because after three very different births( c-section, VBAC induction, and VBAC spontaneous labor), I finally got the birth I dreamed of. I am a mother to four children and when my first and fourth babies were newborns, they gave me many breastfeeding challenges. It was with the support of skilled lactation consultants that I was able to develop a plan to be able to continue to breastfeed. I became a lactation consultant because I desire to support moms in the comfort of their own homes as they overcome challenges while feeding their babies. It is a joy and honor to get to do what I do and I love building relationships with the families I serve. Before I was a lactation consultant, I was a birth doula.
