I’m looking for a postpartum doula who can help me out 3 nights a week for the first two weeks after delivery. My budget is $1-1,680. I’d like someone with at least 5 years experience. I’d like someone who could help postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding.

This is my first child. I just need help understanding and learning the process. I need help preparing me for this birth learning what I can and cannot do.

I’m really nervous about labor and delivery. I want an epidural and am good with medical intervention. I’m nervous that my husband won’t be calm during the birthing process. I need someone who can help me be calm through it and help coach my husband through it. I also am nervous about being very vulnerable during birth and consent is very important for me and want to make sure I feel comfortable and not taken advantage of. Giving birth at Sibley I’m also very nervous about postpartum. This is my first pregnancy

Just learned you are in network with my insurance Carefirst. Looking for birth support for baby #3 and postpartum support. My previous two births were vaginal unmedicated births. No complications with this pregnancy.

We’re moving midway through the pregnancy to the DC region, Maryland side. We’ll probably live in the Rockville area but I’m hoping to give birth with the midwives at George Washington University’s hospital. I’m looking for a labor doula to support an unmediated birth. I also struggled with low supply with my first child so I’m hoping to find a lactation consultant who specialises in that. We have Tricare, which covers both doulas and IBCLCs.

I would like to have a medicated vbac but would like to labor as long as possible without the epidural. I would like an experienced Doula with extensive vbac experience. My budget is around $1000

I do not have a budget estimation but have seen that Tricare does cover a doula and a midwife. I have Tricare Reserve Select.

Hospital birth, seeking doula support as this is first pregnancy

I plan to give birth in the midwifery unit of the MedStar Washington Hospital in Washington DC. I am looking to have as few interventions as possible and plan to birth unmedicated. I would strongly prefer a doula of Christian faith, though shared faith is not a requirement. I’m only interested in doulas with experience in a hospital setting and would prefer a doula with at least 3 years of experience. Ideally, my doula would also be able to take photographs periodically throughout labour and delivery, though I know this may not be likely. I am not interested in postpartum care.

Birth Plan simplified: arrive to hospital at 6cm (hospital policy) receive epidural. No Cesarean delivery and/or Episiotomy. Golden hour/ Delayed cord cutting. Low stress environment.
