In 2022, while living abroad, I gave birth to my son far from family and without much of a support system. I found myself scared and overwhelmed by the intensity of labor, longing for someone to guide and reassure me. That experience opened my eyes to the vital role emotional and physical support plays in childbirth, and it’s why I’m here—to offer the same kind of guidance and reassurance I longed for during my labor so you can enter those fragile early postpartum days feeling calm, empowered, and supported. I share a life filled with joy in Northern Virginia with my husband and our two children, who are the center of my heart and universe. Family is everything to me, and it’s because of them that I’m so passionate about helping others navigate the journey of birth. My life has taken me to many places, including three years spent living in Germany and eight months deployed to Afghanistan. These experiences taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of staying calm and grounded, especially in times of uncertainty – and I bring these lessons into my work as a doula. As your doula, my goal is to help you feel confident, empowered, and supported every step of the way.
