The cost of a night nanny in Folsom, CA can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Folsom, CA, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

Hi! I’m Crystal! I am a birth and postpartum doula in Solano County. I’m the eldest daughter of Mexican Immigrant parents. My birthwork practice is rooted in remembering and reclaiming ancestral wisdom and indigenous traditions. My parenthood journey opened my eyes to the ways our society has failed mothers and birthers which lead me to this work! I believe birthwork is revolutionary and my role is to show radical love and support for birthing people. I believe in informed consent and I do not shy away from advocacy! I support birthing people and their choices and I see it as my job to ensure you have the education, resources , as well as the empowerment to advocate for yourself and your baby. Birth and postpartum are team sports! Along with supporting the birthing person I also specialize in facilitating support from partners, families, and friends. Please check out my website for all of my offerings! Hola, soy Crystal! Soy una comadrona en el Condado de Solano. Soy la hija mayor de padres inmigrantes mexicanos. I had such a wonderful experience having Crystal as my doula. She provided me with resources, tips, advice on how to prepare for my upcoming birthing experience. She was there with me the whole time I was in the hospital, and she helped ensure that I was as comfortable as possible during my labor. She did a great job in advocating my needs and birth plan to the hospital staff as well. I don't know what I would have done not having her as part of my support system. I highly recommend her!

Diane was my Doula, and she was simply fab!! I had a very difficult pregnancy with various things, extreme nausea, stressful situations, emotional ups and downs with hormones etc, and Diane was understanding and soothing and helped me to approach my baby’s birth in a calmer way, however it happened. She held my hand and supported me during a very painful external cephalic version, I was screaming but her being there helped so much! And the day after I was a wreck but she made sure to check in and was very caring. I lost my mum a few years ago and although Diane was in a doula role she was also like my family, like a mum, as soon as I met her, she was exactly what I needed and she just seemed to instinctively know what she needed to do to help. Thanks so much Diane! I hope we will always stay in touch! Lots of love, Carrie, Michael and Matt xxxxxx

My goal is to be a calm and steady presence for mothers to feel nurtured, supported, and cared for while they are getting to know their new baby and settling into a new way of life. With a master's degree in clinical nutrition, I focus on creating warm, nourishing meals, snacks, and teas that support healing and recovery during the fourth trimester. I offer in-home meal preparation tailored to postpartum healing, newborn guidance, breastfeeding support, emotional and informational support, and any household support needed to ensure you are able to rest and enjoy your new baby. As a mother of two little boys, I understand how vulnerable and transformative the postpartum season can be— because I've lived it. Even when surrounded by a loving partner, family, and friends, this time can still feel overwhelming and lonely. Through my own journey into motherhood, I feel deeply called to support women as they navigate this new season of life.

Bridget has been such a blessing to our family postpartum and I can’t recommend her enough! She makes the most amazing meals and freezer meals, making sure we’re all well fed and taken care of. While here she gets snacks for myself and the kids as well as lunch and will help watch the baby so I can actually eat. Not having to worry about meals and dinners has been such a huge help during this season. She also helps with things like laundry and watching the kids so I can get a few things done that I’ve been needing to or even feed the baby knowing my toddlers are being taken care of. My kids don’t connect with just anyone so it has been neat to see how easily they’ve taken to Bridget. They even ask to help her cook and bake when she’s here! I’m so grateful for all the ways shes helped take some of the stress off our plate and makes this season a little easier. Having her support this time around has been amazing for our family and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for extra support during postpartum!

Working with Shelby was one of the greatest gifts during the birth of our first baby. I truly believe my labor would have been longer and far more overwhelming without her guidance, coaching, and calming presence. She supported not only me, but my husband too, and continued to care for us after birth through postpartum recovery and breastfeeding support. Her guidance helped us feel less alone and more confident in such a life-changing season. We are so grateful for Shelby and the difference she made for our family. She will always be a special part of our story. — Erica, Ilan & Baby Ben 💙
