Holly Parker
About me
Hello, I'm Holly. I'm a mother of three vibrant boys named Earl, Ean, and Kai, and my youngest, a baby girl named Kira. My loving and supportive husband, Earl, completes our beautiful family. We call the northern Philadelphia suburbs in Bucks County our home. In fall of 2023 I started midwifery school at Midwives College of Utah. Currently, I'm finishing up the last phase of my midwifery program, where I am the primary midwife, supported by a second midwife. My journey to become a midwife is enriched by extensive healthcare experience. I started my nursing career in 2014, and spent five years working as a labor and delivery and postpartum nurse, and I now specialize in critical care. I have experience working as a birth assistant to a home birth midwife and providing doula and lactation support. With almost 9 years of experience in maternal-newborn health, I have supported several hundred births as a the primary nurse and student midwife.

Service introduction
Care I Offer That Sets me Apart Monitrice Labor & Birth Support I help woman and families take the guess-work out of labor and know when it's time to go to the hospital or birth center. A monitrice combines the emotional and hands-on support of a doula with the clinical knowledge of a nurse or midwife. Support will be provided in your home as early labor becomes more intense and challenging and transitions to active labor. Montrice Care Can Help: - Provide reassurance and rest in the early labor stages. - Avoid early hospital admissions. - Reduce unnecessary interventions. - Provide increased time to move freely, eat, rest, and allow labor to progress in the comfort of your home. - Monitor vital signs, the fetal heartbeat, and provide cervical checks to help you make informed choice. - Support your autonomous decisions This service is ideal for families who want to labor at home as long as possible before transitioning to their planned hospital or birth center. Once in the hospital or birth center, the doctor or midwife assumes responsibility for all clinical care and monitoring. My role transitions to provide emotional and hands-on support as a birth and postpartum doula. Overnight Postpartum Doula Care An overnight postpartum doula cares for your baby while you rest, sleep, and recover. This support can be especially valuable during the early weeks of parenthood, when consistent rest and practical help can make a meaningful difference. Your night doula can care for your baby, answer questions, provide breastfeeding support/lactation guidance, and offer an extra set of hands as your family adjusts. Overnight, they can help establish a soothing bedtime routine, feed your baby or bring them to you for nursing as needed, change and settle them between feedings, and comfort them when they are fussy. In addition to newborn care, your doula can assist with baby-related tasks such as washing bottles, folding baby laundry, tidying the nursery, and preparing items you may need for the next day. They may also help with light household organization, dinner preparation, or settling older children so you can focus on your newborn. The goal of overnight postpartum support is to lighten the load of your household, help you feel more confident as a parent, and give you the space to rest, recover, and care for yourself.
