Hi! I’m Jena, a holistic birth doula serving greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio. I believe that everyone deserves a birth experience where they feel respected, heard, safe, and empowered. I am an inclusive and affirming doula for all people and families. I believe that everyone who wants a doula should have one. You deserve all the support! Birth is a transformation, an event that has a lifelong impact. As a holistic doula, I believe that pregnancy can be a sacred time to connect with our intuition and our whole selves. I believe that our bodies know how to give birth, and as a supportive guide, I will encourage you to tap into your inner source of power. I am a yoga teacher, and I teach prenatal yoga weekly. As your doula I include a one on one prenatal yoga session. My yoga practice helped me so much during pregnancy, and I love to share what helped me with others! Additionally, I am a placenta encapsulation specialist. This is a wonderful way to nourish and restore postpartum, and I love helping birthing people to feel their best!

I am a holistic birth doula. I provide prenatal support- two prenatal visits, and a one on one prenatal yoga session. I am always available throughout the duration of your pregnancy for anything you may need. I am on call24/7 from 37 to 42 weeks. I work closely with other doulas in the area, and provide you with a back up doula, who you are always welcome to meet. When active labor begins, or whenever you need my support, I will come and meet you and stay with you for the duration of your labor. I will stay with you for a few hours postpartum to help you settle in and assist with breast/chest feeding. We will have a postpartum visit about a week later where I can help you out with whatever you may need, provide you with resources and talk about your birth. I teach weekly prenatal yoga classes, and will help you with movement to assist during your pregnancy and labor. Throughout your pregnancy, I will encourage you to tune in to your intuition and your body. I am a placenta encapsulation specialist, and love talking about how helpful encapsulation can be for postpartum. Services include capsules, a placenta tincture, cord art, and a placenta print.
Jena is an incredibly caring doula. She spent as much time as we needed before I gave birth to answer all of our questions, even some we didn't know we had! I loved the various comfort items she brought to the hospital to help set a serene vibe. I loved going to her pre-natal yoga classes on Saturdays in Lakewood, they were amazing. I would recommend Jena to anyone, home or hospital birth!
