Hi! I'm Lacey Dowlearn! I am a Birth Boot Camp certified Childbirth Educator and Certified Birth Doula serving Round Rock families. My journey in birth work began in 2007 with the first pregancy in my group of friends. She had mentioned wanting a midwife and I started researching. I had caught the birth bug and was hooked! The idea of women helping women made my heart happy. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to be an apprentice midwife at several freestanding birth centers; labor support for homebirth, birth center and hospital clients in Round Rock and surrounding areas and have recently certified as a CBE and Doula with Birth Boot Camp. I've been married to my partner, Danny, since April 2008. He has supported me through this journey and is a great partner. I am a mom to two beautiful little girls, Annie and Jane. Both of my births took place in my home accompanied by a midwife, my very first midwifery preceptor. I breastfed both of my babies for 2 years, tandem for 6 months.
