Hi, I’m Gabriella! I’m a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, a student of herbalism and aromatherapy, and an advocate for moms and growing families. I’m based in Dandridge and offer hands-on labor and postpartum care across the Knoxville and East Tennessee area, as well as virtual doula support for families across the country. Hi, I’m Gloria, a certified birth and postpartum doula and the founder of Little Gems Doula Services. My journey began in 2019 after a traumatic birth experience that left me feeling broken and confused. When I found out I was expecting our second child in 2022, I was excited but also terrified of repeating my first experience. Seeking support, I researched my options and decided I needed a doula. My doula not only helped me process my first birth but also guided me in healing and preparing me and my partner for our second birth experience. Thanks to her support, I entered my second birth feeling empowered, educated, and safer than I ever anticipated. My second birth story was powerful, healing, and redemptive. Having personally experienced the transformative power of doula support, I realized that this was my true passion and calling. I pursued certification and attended my first birth later that same year. My love and passion for birth work came after my own 4 very individual birth experiences, along with attending the births of friends and family members babies. I began to recognize that there was something truly amazing that occurred when women were given the support and education to be empowered as birthing mothers! Recognizing that when these mothers were given the tools they needed to make educated choices, that were right for them, they were also given the power to shape their birth stories in a way that was their own. I have a special place in my heart for first time moms navigating their options and helping new families get started on their journey to parenthood!
