Plan to give birth at Baptist Health in Lexington, wanting an unmedicated birth with the least amount of interventions possible, this is our first baby and estimated budget is about $1500

My husband and I are first time parents and this pregnancy was a big surprise for us. We are very excited but are also overwhelmed and feel unprepared. We moved to Louisville the week finding out we were pregnant and don’t have a big community around us. We are looking for someone to give us facts and help us navigate the ups and downs of birth and how to prepare to feel more confident.

I am doing some research to feel more comfortable with the idea of becoming pregnant. I am on the spectrum and have reservations with the idea of pregnancy due to increased need for communication during stressful times, fear or pain/childbirth, and lack of knowing what to do for a child. I have researched that having a doula can highly help with this since it can be someone who is a trusted person in your corner. I don't have a budget for this service yet since I am still feeling it out-but hope to also be able to have assistance with insurance ( I am a teacher).

I would like I trained and experienced midwife as this is my first. I’d also like to see what options are available for PP doula as I have an adoptive child in toddlerhood. I’d like to keep traditionally to someone who is okay with my Christian faith

I plan to give birth at Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital. I have passport Medicaid insurance so I’m looking for someone who accepts that. I would like to have as calm and relaxing of a labor process as possible, with minimal intervention or interference unless deemed medically necessary. I am a first time mom and feel I don’t know much but have been doing my best with research.

Plan to give birth at a hospital. I am not anti-vaccines, however I plan to to opt out of multiple, as well as, space them out. I would like support in being able to advocate for that. I have a high chance of needing a c-section because of the shape of my uterus and the possibility of baby being breech, so I would like a doula who could help advocate for my birth plan and possibly help with exercises to increase the chance of a natural birth. I plan to give birth at home. We plan to spend around 3,000-5,000 I would like to give birth at home, with no epidural, preferably a water birth but want to move around as needed for my comfort. And do it as natural as possible and only go to the hospital if there are serious complications that need more medical intervention
