Lacie believes every family deserves a birth experience rooted in dignity and a profound sense of peace. Before becoming a birth doula, Lacie spent 15 years traveling the world working in the international security and relations space, alongside communities striving for stability, dignity, and hope. Through those experiences, one truth became clear: the greatest need for peace often begins much closer to home—within the household itself. After witnessing friend after friend feel disappointed or disempowered by their birth experiences, Lacie began sharing the resources and support she had learned from her own birth team. Over time, she realized a calling to more formally support growing families in a space often distorted by overwhelming information and conflicting opinions. This vision ultimately led her and her husband of six years, Caleb, to found FaberFam LLC. Lacie views birth as one of the most sacred transitions a family will experience, shaping not only the arrival of a child but the foundation of the family itself. Through birth work and family life education, her goal is to provide steady coaching, thoughtful education, and grounded support so every mother can experience a dignified, peaceful birth and every family feels strengthened—rather than overwhelmed—by the journey. Working with local doula mentors and nearing DONA birth doula certification, Lacie draws on evidence-based resources while always advocating for what will best support peace and confidence for each family. As a birth doula, Lacie offers: • Calm, grounded guidance throughout each stage of labor • Hands-on comfort measures and positioning support • Partner coaching that empowers fathers to feel steady, capable, and connected • A quiet, reassuring presence during moments of intensity • Postpartum planning rooted in rest, nourishment, and sustainable rhythms With experience supporting both home birth, birth center & hospital births, families often describe Lacie’s presence as “anchored,” “safe,” and “never alone.” Her support helps both parents remain emotionally connected and focused on welcoming their baby with confidence. Outside of doula work, Lacie serves as Communications Manager for her local church, enjoys life with her husband and their two young children, experiments in the kitchen, and unwinds with a good meal and a glass of wine.

We were living overseas and the birthing situation was new and confusing. Lacie was able to navigate time zones and technology limitations to provide valuable insight and support. Helping with getting our little one to flip from breach and encouraging labor to start with a much overdue baby. All through the information and resources she provided us. A great help and comfort to have on the way to the hospital and in the delivery room.
