I am seeking a doula to provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support throughout my pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. As a first-time parent (or “during this pregnancy,” if applicable), I would benefit from having someone who can help me understand my options, advocate for my birth preferences, provide comfort measures during labor, and offer reassurance during what can be an overwhelming experience. I also value having postpartum support to help with my recovery, infant care education, breastfeeding guidance if needed, and the transition into parenthood. Having a doula would help me feel more confident, informed, and supported during this important time.

My goal for my birth is an unmedicated hospital birth. I’m looking for someone to help me prep for that as well as support me during labor. If there was a Christian doula that would be our preference but are open to anyone.

I will be using epidural. Certified doula that can advocate for my needs and help through the labor especially if it’s been a long labor. I was 32 hours in labor with my first and did not feel supported by the nurses. I believe we were made to be fruitful and multiply as the Lord said, I believe our bodies were made to do this. So I’m looking for someone with the same values & beliefs. Second baby, we live in St. Petersburg with our 2 yo son. Daughter is due in mid Dec. we need postpartum doula who can comfortably join our family in the afternoon and function as a postpartum family assistant—take the baby, help with our son, keep laundry/dishes/food moving, and give me several hours where mom can recover and heal. Looking for 3-4 hours a day in the afternoon for 6-8 weeks.

I would like to do a home water birth. I don't know a budget because I'm unsure how much these things may cost and if insurance may be able to assist. I don't want to be medicated I would like a relaxing environment and comforting coach to help me get through it.
