I'm Brazilian, wife and a mom of two girls. My cultural Background and my daughter's birth experiences are deeply connected to my decision to become a doula. Growing up, I used to listen to my mother's birth stories, which helped me see childbirth as a grand and beautiful event. For me, the idea of giving birth was always sacred - but it was through the births of my two daughters that I truly understood what it means to give birth.
