The cost of a midwife in Lutz, FL can be influenced by several factors:

  • Type of Midwife

Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs) who work in hospital settings may have different pricing than Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs) who attend home births or birth center deliveries.

  • Birth Setting

Hospital births with a midwife typically cost less out-of-pocket when covered by insurance, while home births and birth center deliveries may have different fee structures.

  • Scope of Services

Many midwives offer comprehensive packages that include prenatal visits, labor and delivery support, and postpartum care, which can affect the overall cost.

  • Insurance Coverage

Most insurance plans cover CNM services, which can significantly reduce out-of-pocket costs. CPM coverage varies by state and insurance plan.

  • Experience and Specialization

Midwives with extensive experience, additional certifications, or specializations such as VBAC support or water birth may charge higher rates.

  • Geographic Location

Midwifery costs can vary based on the cost of living and demand for midwifery services in your specific area.

Jayde is a true gem in the world of birth support, and her presence can truly make a difference in your birthing experience. I recently welcomed my baby girl unmedicated, in the quiet environment of my own home. I couldn’t have done this without the unwavering support of Jayde as my doula. Jayde is nothing short of phenomenal. Since the first day we met, she showed up prepared to listen, understand my needs, talk over my fears and doubts, and offered many resources to prepare for D-day and postpartum. During the birthing process, Jayde knew how to guide me to follow intuitively what my body needed, offered various options to ease and soothe the labor intensity. Her repeated affirmations and physical strength supported me in pushing through many physical and mental edges of labor. She also skillfully created a space that allowed my partner to actively participate while providing the physical cues and mental strength needed to navigate the process. Jayde is selfless; she is fully present and focused on supporting her clients. This, and more, makes her an outstanding, reliable doula to add to your team.

I’ve spent the last year and half passionately supporting families through one of life’s most transformative experiences: bringing a new soul into the world. I offer a variety of services tailored to your needs, including prenatal consultations, continuous labor support, and postpartum care. Menita is an incredible doula. She truly brings you comfort, confidence, charisma and makes you feel like the Goddess you are. Having her for your birth experience is incredible, she sets up an ambience of warmth, soothing music, dim lights and just the right amount of encouragement to bring the beautiful life into the world. Not only does she support you and guide you through prenatal care, labor and delivery, she also tenderly cares for you during postpartum. Hello I'm Courtney (she/her)! I am a cross trained doula, certified through ProDoula. I am a mom of 6 kids ages 16-4. As a former military spouse, my kids were born in 4 different states! I moved to FL in OCT 2019. My oldest was a traumatic labor and delivery. It was with a provider that I didn't research and everything felt out of my control. It was rushed, medicated, and scary. After that I promised myself to have a better birth next time. All of my other children have been natural births, in the hospital, with a midwife. I decided to become a doula early into 2021 after finding out I was going to be an aunt. I researched and learned and realized that this is my passion. As a doula I offer many forms of support and aid. I am trained in natural pain relief positioning, comforting touch, and breathing techniques. I am an emotional support to ensure that families have a positive birthing experience. I also am a support to your birth partner, whether your birth partner is a spouse, parent, romantic partner, family member, or friend. I help to make sure your birth partner is as involved as you wish them to be. I help you to make informed decisions that work best for you and your birth experience. I believe in informing my clients, not influencing them. I advocate for you! I will help your voice and wishes be heard so you can have the birth that you want and deserve. I want to make sure things are done with your consent and understanding. Whether you choose a hospital, birthing center or home birth, whether you want a medicated or unmedicated birth, a doula is an integral part of your birth. I hope to join you in this special time in your life.

As a seasoned doula, birth advocate, and mother of nine children — six boys and a set of triplet girls — I bring a rare blend of clinical knowledge, lived experience, and intuitive understanding to every family I serve. My journey through nine pregnancies, each with its own lessons and challenges, has shaped the way I support mothers today. I know the emotional terrain of pregnancy, the physical demands of labor, and the sacred transformation that happens when a new life enters the world. My work is rooted in the belief that every mother deserves informed, compassionate, and culturally grounded care. Over the years, I have supported families across a wide range of birth experiences, always centering their voices, their choices, and their dignity. My approach blends evidence‑based education with the kind of wisdom that only comes from walking the path myself many times over. A core part of my philosophy is the importance of consistent, proactive prenatal care. I have seen firsthand how early support, education, and monitoring can reduce complications and lower the likelihood of medical inductions — especially those involving Pitocin. While Pitocin is a valuable medical tool when truly necessary, I help families understand how nurturing the body throughout pregnancy can support natural hormonal progression and increase the chances of spontaneous labor. My goal is to empower mothers with knowledge, confidence, and the tools they need to advocate for themselves long before labor begins. Through Royal Empress Doula Services, I serve families with a commitment to excellence, cultural sensitivity, and unwavering support. Whether I am guiding a first‑time mother, supporting a family through a high‑risk pregnancy, or helping a parent heal from a previous birth experience, I show up with the same steady presence that carried me through my own births. My mission is simple: to help families feel seen, supported, and strengthened — from the first prenatal visit to the first moments of life and beyond.

I believe that birth is a sacred experience and it should be treated as such !

Being a 3rd time mom and not previously using any support other than my obgyn and others in the medical field for my pregnancies i thought i had it all down packed as far as my plan through out pregnancy & labor. Until i ran into Jori with Madre Doula and she helped me understand that there’s so much more options out there than what your doctors offer you. That you’re not obligated to schedule an induction or a C-section at 40 weeks. That our bodies know exactly what it is doing. She helped me become better informed about all my options. She helped me come up with my entire birth plan According to what made ME feel comfortable despite what the doctors recommended or wanted to force upon me. She showed up during the active labor part of labor to make sure my birth plan was being stuck to and she made sure that i was feeling comfortable, and being supported. We forget how much pain & in a daze you can be and your mind can be in when it’s all happening. This is why you honestly need someone To be able to be there to advocate for you and your choices. I loved having her as my peace of mind. With her as my doula It didn’t end at labor, She also made sure to check up on me post partum and see how everything was going. I still had so many new questions that came up for me although having experience child birth before and she was able to provide me with support & comfort. Again I’d recommend her over and over again. For experienced moms and first time moms!
