The cost of a night nanny in Macon, GA can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Macon, GA, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

Yes, I was actually named after Storm from X Men, so standing up for what is right is in my DNA. My love for women’s health started at just 7 years old when I experienced my older sister give birth. Now at 23, I’m experiencing the journey firsthand as a first time mom. Conceiving naturally while navigating PCOS has been an absolute miracle, and it completely solidified my awe and respect for what our bodies can do. That personal experience shapes exactly how I show up as a birthworker. My approach centers on a holistic, body led style, leaning heavily into somatic movement and herbal wisdom (combined with evidence-based practices), to help you intuitively flow through labor. Just like my namesake, political advocacy is a massive part of who I am. When I'm not supporting births, I’m fighting for women and PCOS awareness, leading educational discussions, and speaking out against political injustice. I’m a member of the Atlanta Peach Book Club where we strengthen community through education! My downtime is filled with creative outlets and animal companionship. You can usually find me painting or relaxing at home with my pets. I have three cats and a dog who keep life cozy! I offer both in person and virtual care, always rooted in an open, judgment free space. Your background, values, and choices guide everything we do, and I would love to walk beside you through this massive life transition.

I cannot thank her enough for the incredible support she provided during my birth at Northside Hospital! Since I hired her quite late in my pregnancy around 37 or 38 weeks, we only had time for one long virtual prenatal visit, but she completely stepped up. Within just a few days, she supplied me with so many helpful handouts and information, including great resources for postpartum planning. I was really struggling to afford a doula since it isn't covered by my insurance, and the fact that she provided her care for free was a massive blessing. She was always personally available whenever I needed her by text or call. She answered all of my questions and was completely honest if there was something she didn't know, which I really appreciated. What I loved most was how comfortable I felt with her. We are close in age and knew each other previously, so there was absolutely zero judgment. She phrased medical things in a way that was so easy to understand. She was also incredibly thoughtful and culturally responsive; when I explained that I have trauma from past OBGYN experiences and felt uncomfortable with certain language, she immediately adjusted her wording to make me feel safe. We even hit a few hiccups with the medical staff during my time at the hospital, and she was right there by my side helping me through every single one of them. She is building a wonderful practice, and her dedication and honesty make her an absolutely great birthworker. She was perfect for me!

am a warm, nurturing, dependable childcare professional with more than 13 years of experience working with children and families in private homes. I especially enjoy caring for newborns and young infants and supporting parents during those important early months. In my most recent position, I spent eight years with one family, caring for their first child beginning at six weeks old and their second from birth. That experience allowed me to support the family through newborn care, infancy, developmental milestones, changing routines, and eventually the school-age years. I value building relationships based on trust, consistency, discretion, and open communication. Families can expect me to be calm, observant, organized, proactive, and respectful of their individual parenting choices. I am comfortable working independently, but I also enjoy collaborating with parents and other household professionals. My experience includes newborn and infant care, breastfeeding and postpartum support, feeding and sleep routines, developmental tracking, nursery organization, and household management. I am currently furthering my newborn expertise through formal Newborn Care Specialist and lactation education. I genuinely enjoy learning babies—their personalities, cues, routines, and individual needs—and I find it especially rewarding to help make the newborn period calmer and more manageable for parents. I bring both extensive hands-on experience and a genuine love for caring for babies to every family I support.

Cherish Leemon

I am Cherish Leemon, owner and founder of Cherish Doulaship. I am a biblically minded Christian, military spouse, and mother to three amazing children. My goal with Cherish Doulaship is to serve others the way Jesus Christ has called us to and to bring knowledge and joy back into the birthing space. After experiencing a traumatic birth with my first child, I began to research traumatic birth prevention and educate myself in the birthing process. I didn’t want to birth in fear again. Little did I know this research would propel me into a passionate career as a birth worker. I finished my Birth and Postpartum Doula certifications in 2017 and have continued education by earning a degree in Woman’s Studies with a major in Diversity Studies. As a certified Doula I offer full spectrum care; ranging from childbirth education, bed rest care, pregnancy and birthing comfort measures, breastfeeding education consults, light house work and meal prep, birth processing, and SO MUCH MORE! It is a privilege for people to be allowed into your birthing space. I would love to help you and your family meet your child birthing goals by providing the support you need through evidence-based information, guidance on informed decision making, and advocate education.

Cherish was my doula for the birth of my third child. She was a calming presence in the delivery room and trusted my instincts and intuition during another speedy labor/delivery. She was such a huge part of the birth and I can't wait to see her help more women in Middle Georgia through prenatal education, birth attendance, and postpartum assistance. She helped my husband and I learn more about navigating an unmedicated birth and assisted us with position changes, non-pharmacological pain relief measures, and helped us achieve the birth we wanted. I cannot recommend her enough, no matter what kind of birth experience you want or need!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Michel Mohammed was an incredible support throughout my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum experience. From the very beginning, she was compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly attentive to my needs and concerns. She took the time to explain everything clearly, helped me feel confident in my choices, and always made sure I felt heard and supported. During labor, her calm presence, reassurance, and hands-on support made a huge difference for me. She advocated for me when needed and helped create a peaceful, empowering birth experience. Postpartum, she continued to check in, offer guidance, and provide emotional support, which meant so much during such a vulnerable time. I am beyond grateful for her care and would highly recommend Michel to any expecting parent looking for a doula who is professional, nurturing, and genuinely invested in your well-being.
