My name is Kayla Brookins, and I'm a birth and postpartum doula and peer lactation counselor. I have been studying and preparing for birth work since 2017, and I feel deeply called to this work! I finished my formal training in postpartum and newborn care after studying to be a perinatal mental health therapist. My joys of taking care of newborns and babies led me to pursue doula work full-time. I consider myself a jack-of-all-trades for parents. I have a bit of experience in many facets of care including sleep conditioning, supporting perinatal health including mood disorders, and am eager to learn and grow.
