I support birthing people and their choices and I see it as my job to ensure you have the education, resources , as well as the empowerment to advocate for yourself and your baby. I had such a wonderful experience having Crystal as my doula. She provided me with resources, tips, advice on how to prepare for my upcoming birthing experience. She was there with me the whole time I was in the hospital, and she helped ensure that I was as comfortable as possible during my labor. She did a great job in advocating my needs and birth plan to the hospital staff as well. I don't know what I would have done not having her as part of my support system. I highly recommend her!

Carina is a second generation Filipinx and El Salvadoran queer and revolutionary full-spectrum doula. In an effort to embrace both of Carina's ancestral lineages, Carina is committing to the re-knowing/re-learning of advocacy for families on their journeys of pregnancy, labor, postpartum, miscarriages, loss, and abortion. Through this work, Carina devotes themself to re-membering the innate wisdom and powers of birthing people’s abilities to birth life into this earthly realm. In re-membering this ancient wisdom, Carina rejects harmful patriarchal systems and resists colonial structures of all forms. She provides insights into the energies of a chart to instill a sense of calm, understanding, and presence through the sacred journey. In addition to Carina's duty to ensure their clients feel seen, held, and supported, she recognizes that every birthing person's experience is unique and as a result of this, ensures the care they receive is catered to their individual experiences. In and out of this work, Carina of Tandaan Mo (remember) La Tierra (the land) aims to uplift, support, honor, and advocate for all sacred portals.

Well Mama Birth Services was born from my deep desire to create a space where every woman feels seen, heard, and supported throughout her birthing journey. Rooted in a holistic approach to birth, I honor both the physical and emotional experiences, believing that when women are treated with care, respect, and compassion during pregnancy, they birth with strength and grace. Inspired by the legacy of the women in my family who taught me to trust myself, my body, and the sacred process of birth, their wisdom is at the heart of everything I do as a doula. Birth can be unpredictable and raw, but I truly believe YOU. CAN. DO. THIS. Every woman has the innate power to navigate this transformative journey, and my role as your doula is to help you tap into that strength. I am here to stand by your side as you surrender to the experience of birth and trust in your own power. Whether supporting the full spectrum of maternal health—including infant loss, miscarriage, and beyond—being a doula is my lifelong passion.

Wendy was an incredible support throughout my home birth journey. Her prenatal guidance was invaluable—she took the time to educate me, answer all my questions, and help me feel truly prepared. Our conversations gave me so much confidence, and she always made me feel heard and supported. During labor, her calming presence and reassuring words kept me grounded. I couldn’t have asked for a better doula to walk this path with me. If you're planning a home birth, I highly recommend Wendy!

Morgan Gray

Morgan Gray

Packages from $500 · $35/hr

Hi there! My name is Morgan and I am a birth and postpartum doula in Sacramento, CA. I am currently working towards my Maternal Support Practitioner certification through Bebo Mia. I’ve always been fascinated by birth, but after experiencing an unplanned cesarean with my first son, then achieving a VBAC with my second son, my fascination transformed into a passion. Everyone’s birth is different and unpredictable. My dream, in the chaos and beauty of birth, is to make sure all birthers feel safe, supported, and nurtured, both during labor and in the postpartum period. Being there to support one of the most transformational and emotional moments of life is truly such an honor. As I’m working towards my certification and need a specific amount of hours/births attended in order to reach that goal, I’m more than happy to work with sliding scale. Currently, I am unable to accept insurance but hope to in the future! When I’m not absorbing everything I can about pregnancy, birth, and beyond, you can usually find me trying to sneak in a few chapters of a romantasy novel, playing monster trucks with my boys, or laughing with loved ones.

Recent review

Morgan has been absolutely amazing for our family. As a postpartum mom, one of my biggest fears was returning to work and leaving my son, Cruz, in someone else’s care. Having Morgan has eased that transition more than I can express. She is loving, attentive, and genuinely caring. I have full confidence in her — she truly understands babies and what they need. Her knowledge, instincts, and calm presence give me complete peace of mind every day. Cruz absolutely adores her, and it’s clear she cares for him as if he were her own. Morgan is always on time (often even early), dependable, and consistently shows up with a positive attitude and a smile. Beyond caring for Cruz, she thoughtfully helps with tasks around the house, which has been such a blessing during this season of life. Postpartum can be a difficult and emotional time, especially adjusting to life as a mom of two. Morgan has supported me through this transition more than she probably realizes. We are so grateful to have her, and any family would be incredibly lucky to work with her.

Nathalia is the best! She has a sweet and gentle demeanor which puts babies and parents at ease. She is incredibly thoughtful and insightful, and made several recommendations to help us sleep longer (our main priority), which really helped. She also immediately identified a deeper issue I’d been having related to milk supply and raised it incredibly tactfully and helped me move past it. Finding Ginger less than a month before my due date felt like pure fate—she literally approached us as we were walking out the door at a Meet the Doulas event, and we felt instantly warm, comfortable, and at ease with her. My labor didn't exactly go on schedule (he arrived almost two weeks late and required an induction!), but Ginger was our absolute anchor through every single moment of it. She is such a nurturing, loving, and caring maternal soul—so much so that we affectionately call her "Aunt Ginger." Leading up to and during the induction, she gave us incredible guidance, helping us try to get things moving naturally with advice on pressure points and keeping us grounded. Throughout the hospital stay, whenever the medical staff left the room, Ginger would quietly review everything with us, help us process what the doctors had said, and make sure we remembered the questions we wanted to ask. When the medical team brought up using a vacuum during delivery, Ginger gently encouraged us to pause, push back, and ask for time to discuss our options. Having her there to prep, advocate, and vouch for us meant everything—we ended up having a completely intervention-free birth and welcomed a perfectly healthy, beautiful 10-pound baby. Ginger was truly an angel during one of the most intense experiences of my life, and she is someone we will remember and cherish forever. If you are looking for a doula who will treat you like family, protect your birth experience, and pour her whole heart into supporting you, hire Ginger immediately!

As a full spectrum birth-keeper, sexual/reproductive & lactation educator, and womb-space ceremonialist, I hold space for you to have continuous, high quality support that is infused with culturally responsive care, and embedded within a framework of advocacy. As such, I provide physical, emotional, and educational support and guidance to all birthing people, their partners, their families, and communities across the lifespan, reproductive landscape, and for all reproductive circumstances and outcomes. Earthseed Birthwork praxis is steeped in the belief that within the hallowed grounds of your wholeness – your lived experiences and unique socio-cultural contexts, your dreams, and your life journey, there is an opportunity for YOUR divinely aligned birth journey to come forth. I specialize in serving as guide, helping you investigate and get curious about, cultivate, and then traverse your own birth ceremony, the complex and oftentimes daunting medical system's model of care, and matrescence – the wholeness (physically, psychologically, and socially) of becoming a mother/parent…all while centering the sacred and traditional practices that have safely held birthing people for time immemorial. Bearing witness to, being deeply present for, and reflecting your own innate power to call forth and touch into the dance of your intuition, are my gifts. Working with me is intended to be more than a mere hand-holding, it is meant to be a full person witnessing, and the sanctuary of safe space to support the expansion of your capacity to be present with all that arises on your journey. I believe all births are immeasurably transformative...birth shape- shifts us into whatever next iteration this life is calling forth for us. When allowed, birth may expose you to rapturous wonder, deep discomfort, indescribable joy, and the instinctive knowing that you will forever physically, emotionally, and spiritually be changed. Care Setting I meet people where they are, and not where I may perceive they ‘should’ be…literally and figuratively. I hold and offer care within in-person spaces, homes, virtually, office, and outside underneath the sky’s blanket.

We give Shelby the highest recommendation. She supported our birth journey in so many critical ways, through her presence, knowledge and constant encouragement. She is very personable and answered all of our questions. We especially appreciated the way she could explain why the clinical setting would prefer or encourage particular interventions, while also letting us know about all of the options available and helping us to make informed decisions along the way. She empowered us. When it mattered most, during labor and delivery, Shelby was there, with the right presence, words and encouragement. She helped our baby come into the world. We hope other parents have this positive experience of a doula, like Shelby gave us.
