I need a midwife who stays calm collective. One that does not pressure anybody to do anything walks through things nice and easy. I do not need a midwife that gets upset easy. I don’t want to feel pressured into anything. I don’t want anybody else’s hands inside me. I am aiming for a water birth at home. I would prefer to stay under 5000. If that’s not possible 7000. I plan to hold my baby for the first hour after giving birth. I do not plan on giving him a bath the first day. I don’t plan on having any bright lights or flashing. I am 26, it’s my first time. I have ulcerative colitis and severe anxiety/depression. Budget is negotiable as it is my first time, I’m not too sure what pricing should be, but of course the more affordable the better. But we are of course willing to pay for anything we want/need. We do not have much of a birthing plan yet, as me and my bf have not discussed it together yet. But I do like a few different ideas I have heard of. Less surgical intervention the better, that being said if I have to work harder to accomplish that, is fine.
